For Akagi-san

My love, hope and pride

Dear Akagi-san, perhaps you're wondering why you are reading this, or perhaps you already realized what's happening. By the time you're reading this, I'd already left for a mission. My love, my sweet love, I'm not coming back. The mission requires me to not come back.

I actually knew that this mission is inevitable, a lot of days were spent to discuss another approach, but the outcome is always the same.

Do you remember the promise that I made years ago?

I promise that I'd change the world into a peaceful place for us to live.

Do you know why? Because you are a good person that deserves to see the world as it become a place where everyone could live peacefully.

When I think about it again, we always thought letting go is the end of everything, but isn't it wrong? Letting go is more of an acceptance of everything. I accept the fact that I'm leaving this world and Akagi-san, I want you to accept this too.

There's a people who believes that what awaits after we're dead is nothing but an emptiness, there's people who believes in the concept of heaven and hell, there's also people who believes that we will be given a chance to live again. But I believe no matter what awaits there'll come a time when we will be together again.

Akagi-san, I apologize for being coward, for not having a courage to say a proper goodbye, for neglecting to tell you any of this before.

For all the times I spent arguing with you, for the cold attitude that I gave you the first time we met, for making you cry over and over again, even for hiding the ice cream so I could have all for myself, I'm sorry.

I'm not used to being loved and I didn't think that it's possible for a weapon like me, but you came. You came and opened my heart, you gave me a chance to be in love, and you changed me into someone that's more than just a mere weapons to use.

I'm grateful for having you stood next to me, for a chance to wake up next to you, for having you as a flagship. For all the hugs, kisses, smiles, laughs, touch and time that we've spent together. Thank you very much.

I love you, I'll be waiting.
