HEY!!! This was a random idea that I got from a friend, who requested me to do this… I think it turned out to be TOO emo, tell me if it is okay?

This is a implied KURO/FAI, don't like, don't read

Disclaimer: I do not own Tsubasa Chronicles even if I dream of doing so…

It had been 15 days since they arrived in this foreign country. Usually the gang would leave before then, but somehow they were unable to… More specifically, Fai was unable to.

"Fai-san?" Syaoran walked into a depressing scene. Fai was crying, standing in front of a rough grave. The tombstone was roughly cut from wood, and the mound was a messy pile of dirt. Fai turned towards Syaoran, his cheek glistening from the tears that cascaded down his face.

"Ne? Gomen, Syaoran. You probably think I'm a idiot for crying like this." Fai whispered. True, it was out of the cocky and optimistic attitude that he always had, but right now this was expected.

"No, it's okay, Mokona will teleport us when you feel like it…" With that, Syaoran left Fai to a much needed alone time. Silently Fai stared at the word inscribed on the wooden tombstone and began to talk.

" Who would've thought that you would… end your life here?" Tears began to flow freely once more. "I'd like to honor your wish for me to be happy, but I don't think that it's possible…I can't live with the fact that it was my fault you died…" he sighed. No matter how many hours he stood by this grave, his regrets never seemed to diminish, nor did his ever-growing sense of guiltiness.

"Fai-san?" Syaoran had returned. " Fai-san dinner's rea…"

"Syaoran? What was it like to lose Sakura? I mean the Sakura that loved you?" Fai interrupted. Syaoran seemed surprised by the seemingly random question.

"Hai, it was horrible." He began, " I felt like my world was ripped in two, but Sakura wouldn't want me to waste my time weeping about the past. As long as I'm alive, she'd want me to live without her happily." Both men were quiet after the speech.

"You're right Syaoran…I think I'm ready…" Fai suddenly stood up, searching for Mokona. He didn't glance back at the tomb.

The tombstone was inscribed with one word: KUROGANE
