Author's Note: Hello and greetings, readers and writers of Fanfiction! I'm back with a brand new Ben 10 crossover story! I know what everybody's thinking when they first saw this, "What the hell are you thinking?" "How will this even work?" Well, I've already planned it out, and this idea has been rumaging in my head for quite awhile to think what if young Ben came to Riverdale? Well, I assure you, this story is going to be quite interesting! This is also my first time writing something that involves Riverdale, so please, be nice to it. I'll do my best with this story and try to get the characters of Riverdale down right as well. Constructive critsism is always valid!

New Hero in Town - Chapter 1: Welcome to Riverdale

"This is gonna be so boring." 11-year-old, Ben Tennyson, muttered in a bored and annoyed voice. He just arrived in the town of Riverdale not too long ago. He was here to attend to his new school, Riverdale Middle School. With his former school shutting down and other schools not accepting him, his parents thought it would be best to attend to the school that was out of town in Riverdale, since it was literally the only one that could take him in. However, with his parents both being on a business trip, he had to stay with his Uncle Fred and cousin Archie.

He groaned to himself. Despite him just arriving, he felt that he had been standing for hours. His uncle was suppose to pick him up right about now. The boy looked down at the alien device that shifts him into different types of aliens, The Omnitrix. He hoped that while being in the town, Riverdale, he'd be able to fight off some bad guys.

"Ben!" A flinched a bit upon hearing a familiar voice. He turned to his left and saw a man approaching him. He had a beard, he wore a plaid shirt, and he had on a welcoming and warm smile. It was his uncle Fred.

"Uh, hey uncle Fred." Ben greeted. Though, he didn't feel like it, he forced himself to wear a smile of his own. "It's...good to see you." He said.

"It's good to see you too." Fred chuckled before bringing Ben into a hug. The boy sighed but forced himself to hug back. After a couple of seconds, the two departed and he wore a smile. "My gosh. When I first saw you, you were this size." He said, his hand is to where Ben's waist is. "But now look at you. You're tall now."

"Yeah. I guess that's what happens when mom makes me eat my greens." Ben replied jokingly.

"I see. That's my sister." Fred said before letting out a slight chuckle. "How is she anyway?" He asked.

"She's fine." Ben said with a shrug. "Mom and dad just loves to stay busy and provide for me is all."

"Yeah, well, I assure you, you're going to have plenty of fun here." Fred said as he grabbed some of Ben's bags. "Come on. Let's get to the truck."

Ben nodded, still carrying some of his bags. The two headed to the truck and began to load Ben's bags in. Though as they did, Ben noticed Fred holding his stomach as he grunted a bit painfully.

"Whoa, are you okay, uncle Fred?" Ben asked in a concerned and worried voice.

"I'm fine. Just pulled a musle is all." Fred said as he continued packing the boy's bags in. Ben shot him a disbelieving stare. For somewhat reason, that was a lie. He wanted to interrogate him but decided to let it go now and not jump to any conclusions.

After loading his bags into the truck, the two got in the truck and began driving to the house. As they did, Ben stared out the window. He noticed many buildings and vehicles. He just shrugged. Everything kind of looked original. To him at least.

"Well, here we are." Fred spoke as he pulled over the truck and stopped infront of a house. "Home sweet home."

The two got out of the truck and unloaded the truck, taking his bags. Fred unlocked the door and allowed Ben in.

"Well, what do you think?" Fred asked. "It ain't much but it is a pretty good home. Come on, I'll lead you up to your room."

The boy nodded and followed Fred upstairs. The boy opened up a guest room and allowed the boy in, along with his bags.

"I'll give you some time to unpack and settle. Afterwards, come down to find me. I'll talk to you about a few house rules." Fred said.

"Sure thing, uncle Fred." Ben said with a small smile. "Thanks."

"Of course, kid." Fred said before letting out a slight chuckle and ruffling his light brown shinning hair. After that, he walked out of the guest room.

Ben began to unpack his stuff and place them in drawers and the closet. After that, he walked out of his room and went downstairs. There, he saw Fred at the counter, taking some meds and sipping some from his water bottle.

When Fred noticed him, he cleared his throat. "Hey, Ben. You uh...you settled in well?" He asked.

"Yeah." Ben nodded.

"Alright. Now, while you're staying here, I'll set some ground rules." Fred said. "If you ever wanna go anywhere, you notify me. You can go on your own at some places, but you never leave this house without notifying me. There may be some times where I'll have to go with you or your cousin has to go with you. There's some...pretty crazy people out here."

Ben scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm sure I can handle myself just fine." He said.

Fred rolled his eyes. "I'm sure you can. But this is serious, this is your safety. And if you wanna play outside, you can do that, but you come back in this house before dark. If you're out and it's dark, I'll do what I do to Archie. Grounded. Those are the consequences. You understand?" He told.

Ben nodded.

"Good. If you wanna play game station, that's fine. It's plugged up in the living room..." Ben's eyes felt a bit heavy. He could hear Fred's house rules muffle. He was bored by this. He wanted to do something, hell, anything fun, other than listening to this. Before his eyes could get anymore heavy, he heard his uncle. "Ben!" He flinched and looked to his uncle. He chuckled a bit before wearing a slight smirk. "I see you're already bored of me."

"Hu-huh? Uh sorry, I didn't mean-"

Before he could finish, the front door was heard opened and came in a redheaded teenager who was his cousin, Archie. "Hey, dad." He greeted as he walked in.

"Archie. About time you showed up. Your cousin's starting to get bored of me already." Fred said in a joking manner.

"Oh, hey, Ben. Didn't know you were coming over so soon." Archie said as he raiced his hand for a high five, which the boy accepted.

"He was. I told you this morning that he was here to start his new school here." Fred said.

"Oh, uh, sorry. I forgot." Archie said.

"Well, maybe you wouldn't forget if you weren't so focused on chasing down that Black Hood." Fred said, forgetting that his nephew was around.

"Black Hood?" Ben questioned with an eyebrow rose. "Who's the Black Hood."

"Nobody. He's just...an imaginary character that Archie should forget about." Fred said, which made the boy roll his eyes. "And since you forgot that your cousin was coming, why don't you go on ahead and give him the tour around Riverdale."

"I can't. I have to meet Veronica, Betty, and Jughead at Pops." Archie said.

"Well, then take your cousin with you. I'm sure they'd love to meet him." Fred said. "Besides, I'm sure he's very hungry, since he came all the way here from Bellwood."

Archie sighed but nodded. "Alright." He replied.

"Good boy. Now you keep a close eye on him." Fred said.

"I will." Archie said.

"I was talking to Ben." Fred said, which made the Tennyson stiffle a bit of a laugh and the Andrews' boy groan. "Now you two get going and have fun."

"Yeah. We will dad." Archie replied with a nod. He looked down at his cousin. "Come on, Ben. Let's go." The Tennyson nodded and followed the teen outside.

The two cousins walked out of the house and started walking down the steet. Ben couldn't help but feel awkward. It was quiet amongst the two for a couple of minutes, until Archie broke the silence.

"So, uh, Ben. You play any sports?" Archie asked.

"Yeah. I play soccer and some basket ball, but that's about it." Ben replied. "You?" He asked.

"I play alot of football. I'm on the football team at my school." Archie answered.

"That's cool. Do you guys win alot?" Ben asked.

"Sometimes we do. We have our losses. Nobody can say we're the perfect football team." Archie said. "Though, football isn't much of my specialty. I do most of singing and writing songs."

"Write songs? You sing?" Ben asked.

"Yeah. I sang not too long ago. People liked it." Archie said.

"Oh. Well, that's good." Ben said.

"What about you? Do you have a hobby?" Archie asked.

"I collect alot of sumo slammer cards and action figures." Ben said.

"Sumo Slammers? Isn't he the fat japanese one or something?" Archie asked.

"Yeah. He's pretty cool and awesome." Ben said.

"I bet." Archie said. "So, what's it like over where you stay at?"

Ben shrugged. "It's kind of okay. There's some weird stuff that goes on in Bellwood, but, eh, isn't everything weird?" He said.

"I suppos so. This town is kind of weird." Archie said. "It hides too many secrets and bad guys..." He muttered.

"Secrets and bad guys?" Ben asked. "Like that Black Hood guy you and uncle Fred mentioned?"

"Yeah..." Archie said.

"I don't believe what uncle Fred says about the Black Hood. Who is he, anyway?" Ben asked.

"Nothing for you to worry about. He's just...nothing." Archie said.

Ben rose a brow but shrugged as the two cousins continued walking.

Later on, the two cousins arrived to the restaraunt diner, Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe.

Ben stared at it. "Huh, so this is Pop's. Looks kind of old and original." He said.

Archie chuckled a bit. "Yeah. But they do have the best food and milkshakes around. My friends and I come here alll the time." He said as the two walked up the steps.

The teen opened the door for Ben as he stepped in. When he did, he looked around the place. Everything around it did look vintage. But when he noticed the food, the tasty burgers, fries, hot dogs, milkshakes, he could feel his stomach calling from inside.

"Someone's hungry." Archie chuckled upon hearing Ben's stomahc grumble.

"Geez, is my stomach that loud?" The boy asked before placing a hand over his empty stomach.

"I could hear it. It's craving for food." Archie said.

"Hey, Archie!" The redhaired cousin looked over and saw his friends. "Hey, look, there's my friends." He said. "Come on. Come over and meet them."

Ben shrugged but followed the redhaired cousin to the table.

"Hey, guys." Archie greeted.

"Archiekins. About time you got here." Veronica greeted with a smirk.

"Yeah, sorry, I had to show my cousin around. He just arrived to start his new school here, since his old school recently shut down." Archie said. "This is Ben."

"Cousin? I didn't know you had a cousin." Jughead said.

"Aw, he's cute." Betty said.

"Cute? Ew, I'm not cute." Ben replied. "I'm awesome."

The teens chuckled at that.

"Well, why don't you go ahead and sit down, Archie's dear little awesome cousin and get comfy." Veronica suggested. "We'd love to have and get to know you."

Ben nodded and sat with his friends, along with Archie.

"So, Ben, where are you from?" Jughead asked.

"Bellwood." Ben answered.

"Bellwood? I hear it isn't too far from here." Betty said.

"Yeah. My school got cancelled, and with the other schools not taking me in because of my "poor grades." The school here was the only one that could accept me." Ben explained. "Plus, both of my parents are on a business trip too for awhile, so...yeah."

"Well, I assure you, you're going to like it here." Veronica said.

Jughead scoffed. "Yeah, if he didn't witness the kind of crazies that are around here." He muttered.

"Jug." Betty hushed.

"Crazies? You mean bad guys?" Ben scoffed. "Yeah right. No bad guy can handle me. I've faced alot of badies last summer. And if that Black Hood comes around, I'll give him what for."

Some of the teens laughed at that.

"What? I'm serious." Ben said.

"Fierce, adorable, and brave. Like your cousin." Veronica said, gesturing to Archie.

"Ronnie..." Archie sighed.

"Hey there, guys." A suddened voice was heard. A stocky man wearing a cooking costume walked up to them.

"Hey, Pop." The teens greeted.

"Pop?" Ben asked as he rose a brow.

"He's the owner of Pop's." Archie told.

"And who is this young man?" Pop asked, looking down at Ben.

"He's my cousin, Ben." Archie said. "He's coming to stay here for his new school."

"Oh, well, it's nice to meet you, young man." Pop said.

"Uh, same to you, sir." Ben said.

"Now, what will it be for all of you?" Pop asked, getting out his pad and pencile. They started to order what they wanted and Pop wrote it down. Of course and unsurpringly, Ben ordered a double cheeseburger with chocolate fudge milkshake. "Coming right up." He said before walking away.

But just as he did, police sirens were heard from outside. Ben turned his head and saw a car racing down the street with a police car close behind. A masked man was firing at the policemen while speeding.

"Oh man." Ben muttered. "Um, I have to go to the restroom right quick." He spoke as he got of his seat.

"Ok. It's should be right over there." Archie said, pointing where the restroom was.

"Yeah. Thanks." Ben said before running to the bathroom. When he got inside, he shut the door and locked it. "Okay..." He sighed. He looked down at his Omnitrix and activated it. The device popped green, revealing an icon of Four-Arms. He twisted the dial a couple of times before stopping at an alien. He raised his hand and hit the Omnitrix as a bright green light shined on him as he began to change.

The light died down and stood instead of his normal form was a blue and white racing alien he called, Xlr8. "Alright. Now that I got what I wanted, I can chase down those bozos." He said as his face-mask appeared and he sped out of the bathroom and out of Pop's in one quick flash that nobody noticed or saw him.

As soon as he got outside he raced to the vehicle where the bad guys were. He passed the policemen car and arrived to the vehicle. "Heya, fellas!" He greeted. "Mind pulling over?"

The masked-men looked to the alien creature and their eyes widened.

"Wha-what the hell?!" One of them inquired.

"What is that thing?!" Another one inquired.

"Not sure! But whatever it is, it's dead!" One of them aimed their guns at him and fired.

Xlr8, however, dodged the gunfires. When he did, he immediately smacked the weapons out of their hands, causing them to hit the ground.

"Dammit!" One of them cursed.

"Keep driving!"

The driver pushed down on the gas petal and drove faster. Xlr8 sped faster and sped passed them.

"Can't catch me that easily." He said.

As soon as the alien got ahead of them, he sped around and began to create a tornado. The bad guys within the vehicle got caught in the tornado as they screamed. After finishing making the tornado, he immediately went in the tornado and got the guys out as the tornado began to disappear.

After it did, the car hit the ground, completely destroying the vehicle, and Xlr8 landed on the ground safely with the bad guys hanging on a lamp post with their underwear. They were given a wedgie. The bad guys began to thrash and yell, trying to get free.

"He-hey!"

"Get us down from here!"

"Nah, I think you look good up there." Xlr8 said with a smirk. The people of Riverdale looked to the alien with surprised and shocked stares. Some even took pictures. "No need to thank me, everyone! Just doing my job." He said as he waved to them. However, some of them looked rather nervous and afraid than grateful.

The policemen soon stopped and came out some officers. The Sheriff of the town got out his gun and raised his hand. "Alright. Put your hands up you...blue...white...thing, and come quietly." He said.

"Wow, talk about ungrateful since I helped stopped the bad guys." Xlr8 muttered. "I have to go anyway, so..." His face-mask appeared on his face and sped off, leaving others dumbfound.

Xlr8 arrived back at Pop's restaraunt and arrived in the restroom without being noticed. As soon as he did, the Omnitrix beeped as it flashed red, and a bright red light shined on him. The light died down and he was back in his original form.

"Well, that was fun." Ben said with a smirk. He walked out of the restroom and headed back over to the table. But as he did, he saw that at the table was a redheaded teen girl talking to them. Not looking where he was going, he accidentally bumped into a girl around his age that was also a red head. "Oof! Sorry about that." He said.

The redheaded girl sent him a glare. "Next time, watch where you're going." She hissed.

"Hey, I said sorry. No need to be a dweeb about it." Ben said. At that response, the girl punched him across the face. "Ouch! Hey!"

"Don't get smart with me, choclate hair." The girl said with her arms crossed.

"Choclate hair?!" Ben inquired.

"That's what your hair looks like. To me that is." The girl said.

"Yeah? Well your hair looks like boring old Twizzlers." Ben said.

"Twizzlers? Like i haven't heard that before." The girl scoffed.

Their glares intensified as they got in each-other's faces.

"Ben!"

"Amber!"

Archie and the redheaded teenage girl ran over and restrained the two from each other.

"The heck is going on here?" Archie inquired.

"What's going on is that this guy's being a dork to me." The girl named Amber said.

"Me?! You're the one who started being a mega jerk to me, and you literally punched me!" Ben exclaimed as he held his cheek.

"Because you deserved it for bumping into me and being smart in my face." Amber said.

"I was only being a smart mouth to you was because you were being a jerk to me first, and I said sorry too." Ben said.

"Alright. That's enough." Archie said.

"Wow, Andrews. I didn't know your cousin could be so bratty." The redheaded girl said.

"Yeah? Well maybe your sister started it, Cheryl. You know how she can be." Archie said.

The redheaded teenage girl named Cheryl rolled her eyes. "Come on, Amber, let's go. We already got what we came for." She said as she grabbed a bag from the counter and walked out. Amber began to follow her out but not before flipping him off and sticking her tongue out at Ben.

"Geez, what the heck is her problem?" Ben inquired.

"That's how Amber is. She's Chery's little sister..." Archie huffed. "Look, forget about it. You need an ice pack."

"No, I can handle it. Besides, she didn't even hit that hard." Ben said with a slight smirk.

Archie chuckled a bit at that. "Alright then. Pop already brought your food. Why don't you come sit down and eat."

Ben's stomach grumbled louder as his smile appeared. "I wouldn't mind that!" He said.
