If you have never heard Play It Again by Luke Bryan, you must...it is absolutely perfect.

Disclaimer: I own nothing, sadly. There would be little psychic ghost hunter babies by now if I did.

Naru couldn't think. Not with the radio blaring from the lounge, more than likely coming from Mai's desk. He groaned, suppressing the urge to beat his head against his desk. Finally, he decided to get up and walk out.

"Mai! Turn down the radio!" he barked, walking over to Mai's desk. Mai looked up at him, sheepish.

"Oh, sorry Naru," she said, turning the dial on the radio down to quiet it. "I was just-!" just at that moment, a new song started playing, and Mai squealed. "EEP! Oh my God, I love this song! I've been listening to the radio all day waiting for it!" she turned back and turned the dial up again, singing along. Naru raised an eyebrow and made to go back to his office, but-

"No, get back here, 'cause you're going to dance with me," and before Naru could protest, Mai grabbed his hands and brought him to the middle of the lounge.

"Mai, I don't-,"

"Yeah, neither do I, but we're going to,"

He didn't know what it was. Perhaps it was the catchy music, or Mai's smiling face, but something got him to loosen up, and he let his bubbly assistant spin him around the SPR lounge, and he may have even laughed a bit.

And all too soon, the song ended, and Mai's gleeful laughter died down with it until it was just a giggle every now and then, and she let go of Naru's hands. Silence for a couple of seconds, and then-

Mai kissed Naru on the cheek.

"Thank you. For dancing with me," and with a small smile, she sat back down at her desk, leaving Naru in a stunned silence.

One thing was for sure though. He really liked that song, and kinda wanted to play it again.
