We saved the world.

It looks like my summer vacation is over.
It looks like I've carried a heavy burden

How's about a little back story? My English 2 Honors teacher was setting up a poetry slam for all her classes, and we all had the option to get a partner. Me being the Kingdom Hearts obsessed fan that I am, wanted to do something relating to video games. Specifically Kingdom Hearts. Unfortunately, none of my friends that were in my period were into games much, so I talked to my teacher and asked if I could do my poem with a friend after school instead. She agreed, and so said friend I wanted to work with came up with the idea of her typing lines for Cloud, and me typing up lines for Roxas. It took us a good couple hours to think of the whole thing, and practicing was a real blast. I got bruises on my knees from continuously collapsing onto the concrete ground. Worth it. My teacher was pretty shocked in the end, because I was usually a quiet student, and then when I did this, I made myself sound pretty damn angry/confused/heartbroken/defeated/etc. I'm only disappointed that I didn't dress up as Roxas. In the end, I was dressed as Xion, and my partner was dressed as another character from Final Fantasy (it wasn't Zack or Cloud, nor Sephiroth).
That's that. This is my first Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy submission, and possibly my last, unless it's a oneshot, or people decide they want to see my writing skills and throw ideas at me. Which is more than welcome. But I digress. Thank you for taking a look, it's much appreciated. Toodles~
