OK, WTF!? PT 1

A/N: This is my first story so it may be pretty shit, but I hope you enjoy!

P.S. Updates will be very rare. Blame FFXV.

Disclaimer: I don't own RWBY, rooster teeth do.

I was walking along, gently humming to the music playing(I Burn), if a bit to loudly for my ears, from my headphones that were hugging my head and parting my long black hair underneath my hood. The fresh snow crunched underfoot, irritating me slightly. I had never been one for snow, and I often compared it to cold mud, when it got deep enough. I turned towards the busy road beside me, and prepared to cross, but as I always do, forgot to look left around the corner. I began to cross, and, due to the extremely loud RWBY music, didn't hear the beeping of the bus that came around the corner towards me. I only looked left when I faintly heard someone scream, and saw a double decker bus sliding across the icy roads at high speeds towards me. The only thing that could cross my mind was 'fuck all kinds of duck' before it hit me. Gone. Just like that. No dramatic sacrifice or heart-wrenching last words, just THUD, as the side of the bus hit me.

I 'woke up' in a grey, blurry forest. I sat up and looked around me, my hair whipping against my face as I did so. In my periferal vision I saw someone standing next to a tree, dressed all in white (the person, not the tree).

"Welcome to purgatory, pick a piece o' paper out the hat and get outta here."They said, as if people came here a lot.

"But...how...what..who?"I murmured, trying to make sense of the situation.

"Look, it's not that complex! Just pick a piece of paper and go through the door" They said, irritated, while gesturing to a door between two trees.

"Uh..o-okay."I replied hesitantly. I reached out to choose a piece of paper, as instructed, and picked one up. I walked towards the door, and opened it. On the other side, I saw a field at night. 'Pretty normal' I think to myself, but then as I stepped through the doorway,I looked up to the sky, and saw a shattered moon.

"Oh fuck." I said as the door slammed shut behind me. I was really there, in Remnant, where Huntsmen and Huntresses were real! ...And so were Grimm.

As if on que, a deep ominous growl sounded from behind me. I recognised it as that of a Beowulf and thankfully not an Ursa, but still meant I had to run. 'Great, juuuust great. I'd barely been there a minute and I already had to run. Just fuckin' perfect.' I started sprinting as quickly as I could in the direction of a faint glow of fire-light in the forest. I ducked under an incoming tree branch, narrowly avoiding a hit to the face, and kept running. The light was getting closer, but I could feel the Beowulf's breath on the back of my neck. Just as I'm about to reach what I now knew was a camp, I tripped, fell and rolled into one of the tents, gaining access through the partially open door and hit my head rather hard on a large, metal object. I looked up and saw someone looking back at me.

"Ahhhhhhh! Angel of death!" They cried upon seeing me.

"Wait... wuh?" Was all I could get out before I was rudely interrupted by a hard whack to the head, that knocked me out instantly.

"Uhhhggghh" I groaned as I regained consciousness and for the first time noticed two rather large uncomfortable masses beneath my back. I sat up and looked behind me to find them, but I only found blankets.

"Well, well, well, look who's finnaly woken up." Said a voice that I recognised as...Yang's! "You're not scaring me with those things you know.

"What things?" I asked, quite confused.

"Your wings, of course." Yang answered as if it was obvious.

"M-my what?" I said shakily.

"Wings, like a bird's. But now I need to find out what you were doing in my sister's tent." Yang said, some anger showing at the end. I tried to stand up but when I put weight on my left foot, sharp pain flooded my mind, causing me to collapse back into the bed.

"Ow..owowow. I was being chased by a Beowulf! I didn't mean to be in your sister's tent! I tripped when I got near your camp and rolled along the ground into her tent!" I answered her, rather panicked.

"So that's where the Beowulf I found eating cookies came from." Yang said, believing my statement surprisingly easily.

"Aaaaarghhhh!" There was a cry of fury from outside, and less than a second later, Ruby had the blade of Crescent Rose to my throat.

"Woah Ruby calm down, you'll hurt the guest." Yang said in an effort to calm her younger sister, clearly worried for my health.

"YOU ATE MY COOKIES!" The younger girl shouted at me, pressing Crescent Rose against my neck, almost breaking the skin.

"I...didn't..eat..your...damn...cookies." I said very carefully, not wanting to cut myself on Crescent Rose's steel blade. I then felt two shapes shift around beneath me, and then two large wings, covered in black feathers erupted outwards from underneath me, causing Ruby to cry out and jump backwards towards Yang, in surprise and fear.

"Thank god. You nearly killed me! Just because you think I ate your fucking cookies." I said, relieved that there was no longer a scythe blade pressed to my throat. "I couldn't have eaten your cookies because I'm allergic to chocolate. (Or I was, not sure anymore) Gather more evidence next time." I said irritated at the younger sister.

"Hmmmmm..." Ruby hummed as the thought about it, her eyes squinting with scepticism. She then turned to Yang to get her thoughts on my explanation.

"She actually didn't eat them, Rubes, it was the Beowulf that was chasing her." Yang said, defending me, much to her sister's annoyance.

"Yannng, we've been over this, you can't just side with whoever's prettiest." Ruby retorted in a futile attempt to embarrass her older sister.

"I'm not, because I can't side with myself." Yang said in response to Ruby's comment. Their argument faded to background noise as I focused I'd getting up, yes I'd been lying in bed this whole time, and leaving the tent. I began walking towards the door flap of the tent but was interrupted by Yang saying

"And where exactly do you think your going? Just sit on a log by the fire, I'll be out to explain stuff once I've won this argument." So, i did as I was asked, and sat on a log by the fire, and lifted my injured foot onto the one next to me. As i sat there waiting, I realised gow cold I was, then looked down to see that I was no longer wearing my T-shirt or hoodie and that the only thing covering my torso was the thin vest I had been wearing underneath. I wrapped my wings around my torso to keep warm, and hobbled back over to the tent. I looked inside the tent and saw, not two squabbling sister's, but the Schnee heiress staring back at me.

"Oh, fuck. Wrong tent, sorry. Bye!" I said as I turned to leave.

"Don't go anywhere, White Fang." Weiss said as she pressed Myrtenaster into my back. I nearly laughed when I heard what she said. 'She thinks I'm white fang!'

"What did you mean, wrong tent?" Weiss asked from behind me, sounding just about ready to stab through my left kidney.

"I was looking for Yang and Ruby, but I must've gotten disoriented while I was sat by the campfire." I answered her, quite calmly.

"So you're trying to assassinate Ruby and Yang! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you where you stand!" Weiss shouted at me, very aggressively.

"Actually, I can give you three, one, you'd get blood in your tent, two, I don't think Yang would be very happy with you, three, I'm not white fang." I said calmly to the heiress.

"Well okay, if Yang would be upset by your death, she must know you, so I won't stab you. By the way, where are the rest of your clothes?" She replied.

"Yeah, I don't know, I was wearing them when Ruby knocked me out, so that's what I was gonna ask Yang about." I answered.

"Come on, follow me." She said as she started dragging me towards Yang's tent. We entered the tent to find Yang and Ruby still arguing about the cookies.

"Yang, would you please explain where this faunus girls clothes are?" Weiss asked Yang in a scolding tone.

"Well you see..the thing is...I was taking them off her so she could sleep comfortably but then I found her wings so I kinda had to cut holes in them to get them off." Yang answered, trying to make it sound as innocent as possible.

"Could I please just have them back?" I asked, getting tired of standing there in just my underwear

"Uh yeah sure just hold on one second while I go get them." Yang said as she went to the corner if the tent. While Yang was rummaging around in the corner, we heard Blake unzip her tent and make her way over to the source of all the noise. Once Blake reached us she stared at me, then leaned over to Ruby.

"Why is there a girl with wings only wearing underwear in our camp?"

"I have no idea, just go with it." She replied.

"Hmm" Blake hummed in response.

"I am standing right here you know?" I said in retaliation of them talking about me. About ten minutes, but what seemed like ten hours for me, later Yang emerged holding a ball of fabric that could have been my clothes and handed it to me. I then dashed into the tent and put them as quickly as I could, to avoid any further embarrassment.

I re-emerged from the tent to find team RWBY packed and ready to leave.

"Come on we need to get back to Beacon, we've wasted enough time already." Weiss said once I'd left the tent.

"Right, let's go. I think Ozpin will want to speak with you." Yang said as she started walking in the direction of Beacon.
