Sam took a deep breath, trying his best to keep still. He must not move, that would give him away.

The target approached, and Sam tensed himself, preparing to spring…

Frodo was by himself, walking leisurely to examine his gardens. "My dear Sam, I don't come out here for two days and its ten times more beautiful than I remember," Frodo muttered to himself. He stopped to admire a particularly lovely bed of flowers and Sam seized his chance. He rocketed from his hiding spot, tackling Frodo to the ground.

Frodo was breathing heavily and Sam turned to him, "Hullo, Mr. Frodo!" He grinned widely.

Frodo's eyes flashed, "Samwise Gamgee! What was that all about? If you wanted my ….attention… you need not crush me!"

"It's more fun this way, Mr. Frodo!" he draped his arm over Frodo's waist.

"Oh, is that so?"

Sam nodded enthusiastically. Frodo couldn't help but smile at the lad's zeal. He decided to take the bait. After snuggling deeply into Sam's body, he let Sam rest his chin in his hair.

Frodo's face exploded into a mischievous smile. Sam couldn't see this, considering the way they were situated. So failing to see the expression on Frodo's face, Sam was utterly surprised when he felt Frodo's leg slowly sliding up his own.

Surprise didn't affect Sam for long. He gasped and clutched Frodo tighter, only to have Frodo abruptly stop. He tried to detangle himself from Sam's limbs.

"Well, it's been fun, Samwise, but I'm afraid I have something else I need to be doing right now."

Sam could hear the tone of mocking in Frodo's voice, and could see the smile spread across his face. "I don't think so Mr. Frodo." Sam pulled Frodo back to the ground and pressed his lips against his. "You're not going anywhere."
