FINDING MY WAY BACK TO YOU
a/n:
Okay, I don't usually write stories involving Randy/Stacy, but I
made an acception and decided to write this. I was feelin the
randy/stacy vibe. Lol.
Summary: Randy & Stacy are the perfect couple…or so one would think. In front of the cameras, they're all smiles, but behind the scenes, their marriage is falling apart as they cont. to grow further apart. Will their marriage survive?
Stacy Orton had just finished putting on reading the new issue of Divas magazine when her best friend Trish Stratus had called.
"Hey Stace!" Trish said.
"Hey T. What's up?"
"Not much. I was wondering if you and Randy wanted to go out to dinner tonight with John and me."
"Sure. We'd love to." Stacy said as she sat down on the bed beside Randy. He rolled his eyes at her reply. 'Great, wonder what she volunteered us to do this time.' He thought to himself.
"Alright, I'll call you when I'm ready." Stacy hung up the phone and turned to her husband. "We're going out tonight."
"Oh we are?" Randy looked up at her as if to question her comment.
"Yes, with John and Trish. We're going to dinner."
"Fine." Randy sighed as he picked up his Muscle Man Magazine and focused his attention on reading. Stacy laid down beside him and began gently tracing his chest with her finger.
"Is that okay?" Stacy spoke softly. The last thing she needed was her husband angry at her.
"I said it was fine, just drop it." Randy spoke with a hint of annoyance in his voice. She immediately rolled over and turned her back to him. He hated being distant with her, but it was just the way it had to be. She made her way over her vanity mirror and grabbed her cell phone before going downstairs.
"Hey dawgs…you've reached the Cena's…we're out partying right now…so leave us some love." She got the machine. "Gahh John is such a dork." Stacy thought to herself as she attempted to reach Trish on her cell phone.
"Yo." John was definitely growing on Trish.
"Hey T. I'm ready, but Randy has a headache, so he won't be accompanying us tonight."
"Oh well tell him I hope he feels better."
"I will." Stacy sighed. "Anyways, what restaurant are we meeting at?"
"The Outback."
"Alright I'll be there in twenty." With that, the long legged diva glanced into the mirror once more. She wore blue jeans with a black Abercrombie shirt. Her hair was clipped back.
"Randy I'll be back around ten." Stacy yelled up the stairs.
"Where are you going?"
"To meet John and Trish."
"Oh…I don't have to go?"
"No. You have a headache." Stacy rolled her eyes as she locked the front door before driving off. Randy cursed himself for letting her drive off alone. Things weren't supposed to be this way. They had only been married for a little over a year. They were still supposed to be madly in love with one another. Of course he loved her, but things were just so…complicated lately and he didn't know why. No one knew what went on being closed doors with the couple. No one had any idea that they were as distant as they were. Everyone thought they were the ideal couple…no ands, ifs, or buts about it. The more Randy lay there in bed thinking about it, the more he began to regret his actions. Grabbing his car keys, he drove off in search of his wife. Suddenly, his head was feeling a lot better.
