Prologue
The Plan
Waiting will lead to your destruction. Ashstar thought, scoffing at the Clans obvious demise. His black, ashy pelt, was thick, even in greenleaf and his dark amber eyes glowed. "When shall we attack, my king?" A small, yet muscular white she-cat asked from Ashstar's side.
"When they lose hope, and try to leave, we attack, my princess." Ashstar answered, flicking his tail in anticipation.
"Seems swell for an attack. They will be scrawny and poor. We should force some to be our warriors." Ashstar's princess suggested.
"Yes, and there will be those who will not have to be forced." Ashstar's eyes glinted evilly.
"The helpless?"
"And the betrayers."
"M-m-m-r-r-row!" The princess laughed. "We will be stronger than ever soon enough! Maybe we'll even be able to take over our sworn enemies, BloodClan!"
"True, but have you forgotten about trickery?" A smooth, deep voice, chuckled from behind the princess.
"I am ashamed to say we have." Ashstar admitted. "But what to use with trickery?"
"Prey amounts, water supplies, a new home, rest at last, any of those things that those puny Clans cats need." The dark, earthy brown tom behind the princess with golden eyes.
"I have new information from the local gossip, Ashstar." A beautiful ginger she-cat with golden markings and orange eyes, smiled.
"What do you have?" Ashstar asked, his voice softened a little bit by her beauty.
"We can give them the chance of revenge, once again." The she-cat flicked her tail. "They defeated BloodClan and we could give them the comfort of knowing that BloodClan are our sworn enemies as well."
"Then we crush them." Ashstar purred with pleasure. "Thank you my friend."
"My pleasure." The beautiful she-cat responded, brushing her tail across Ashstar's cheek and he blushed, glad no cat could see him blush under his thick black fur.
"My king! I have a grand idea." The princess exclaimed and Ashstar perked his ears. "Come on now, everyone crowd in closer." The cats all crowded around the princess. "Here, now if the cats get away..." The princess' voice lowered to hardly a whisper.
"What?!" Ashstar cried out when his princess had finished. "I am not putting any of my beautiful Clan in danger!" He protested. "I'm sorry, but not even for you my princess."
"What about me?" The beautiful ginger she-cat asked. "I think her idea is great."
"We'll be slick Ashstar. None of us will be killed. In fact, no cat will even suspect us!"
