Despite all the Jedi's talks of balance they did not truly know what balance meant.
They never stopped to think that their interpretation of balance could be wrong.
To them the way to balance was the destruction of the Sith.
But what is the light without the void?
When Anakin Skywalker was discovered, both the Jedi Order and the Dark Master of the Sith rejoiced.
The Jedi saw it as the perfect opportunity to crush the void.
The Sith saw it as the perfect opportunity to corrupt a hero and crush the light.
Palpatine for all his brilliance did not think about one certain fact.
What is the void without the light?
When the chosen one turned to join the dark side, Palpatine rejoiced and the Jedi despaired.
The Jedi would speak of Anakin Skywalker as a monster and none would ever stop to ask why didn't force didn't warn them.
The answer is simple.
The force didn't want to.
For all their talk of being honorable and noble the Jedi were just as ruthless as the Sith.
They took children from their parents upon birth.
They robbed children of their ability to love and no one questioned it.
They claimed they did for the greater good.
The force hid the birth of the chosen from the Jedi and the Jedi never questioned it.
Nor why he understood what it meant to have a parents love.
When Anakin turned to the Dark Side he heard a gentle hum whispering encouragingly.
To do day he dies he thinks he imagined it, but the truth is that he did not.
The hum was the force.
The Jedi preached that they were guardians of peace and carried out the will of the force.
They claimed their preserved the balance of the force.
How could the force be in balance when the light was stronger than the void?
As Dark Vader crushed Jedi after Jedi the force hummed.
For the void was growing and light withering.
The light was at the top and now it was the voids turn.
A phoenix was renewed upon its death.
For the Jedi to be renewed the old guard had to die.
It was as simple as that.
