*sighs* Not only my first story published on this site in a while, my first in this fandom. Yay for me? *hears crickets* Yeeaahh. Okay, it's slightly Kyoya/Haruhi, but it can be whoever you want. It just kind of leans toward his narrative. I don't own this series, but I do like it, and have much more planned for its abuse- err, to write about it.
She's really very pretty, in a condescending way.
The way her eyes are cowed, like that of a shy, good child, yet crinkle at the edges (like a woman, he amends) when she grins a in a childishly mischievous way. The kind-of-sort-of charmingly cute way that her blush is hidden by a mess of flour when she bakes. Her skill at looking both like a little girl, and a woman of the world, without effort (unlike many society "ladies he encountered).
She's really very smart, in a condescending way.
The way she can just knowsomething is wrong, and know who can help fix it. The way she can ace all her tests, and still shrug and say, 'so? You scored higher'. The way she can act like she's the king of the world, when she really eats her commoner's ramen while slaving over books to stay here.
She's really very cute, in a condescending way.
She is, he has to say, with her moony doe eyes, her little girl's figure and dressing up as a boy. It's almost adorable how she parades about in pants while every other female is clad in dresses and stockings.
He almost wishes she would do more cute things more often. And not overly clichéd cuteness, but truly her-cute things, like the way she pours the her tea, and the way she walks, speaks, acts, looks, looks at things . . . well, you get his point.
She's really very powerful, in a condescending way.
They way she had almost everyone in the high school division wrapped around her pinkie finger, along with her father, and his friends. And, the way she moves with such purpose when she needed to, like her frail looking child's hands could tear down the Sierras*.
The way she had him wrapped around her pinkie finger, waiting for the next smile. She was really too powerful, it was truly a fruitless inconvenience. The again, he mused, everyone should be allowed to have the upper hand somewhere.
He grinned to the table she was sitting at, and she seemed to shudder (in fear, or pleasure? he wondered) at the sight of his teeth. Why couldn't she be satisfied at her affinity for hosting?
*Okay, I admit it- I made a reference to an American Mountain chain DX But, I only did it because it's a place I know enough about to make a metaphor, okay? Okay. People had to take down/get through the Sierras, they didn't do it on a whim. I thought they would better symbolize Haruhi than some random Japanese mountain I know nothing about could. Sorry.
