PAIN
Pain is a rupture of searing red.
It sounds like screeches of agony and dread.
Pain tastes like bitter, salty blood,
And smells like the neighborhood after a flood.
Pain looks like tatters from the trampling of paws,
And feels like sets of sharp, jagged claws.
