Takuro held his sketchbook closer to his chest as the rain continued to hammer down on him. He hoped that by the time he got to the church his sketches weren't completely ruined. Turning a corner on the street, he sighed when he saw the church. No one stayed there anymore; no more services had been practiced there ever since the former priest's death. That was also around the time a larger church had been built downtown so, naturally this one had been forgotten.
He pushed against the thick oak door until it opened far enough for him to squeeze inside. He then pushed against the door, closing it. The church itself was grand in it's own way. Painted windows of the saints and stories of the past were at all sides. Takuro walked to the alter and grabbed a few candles before going to one of the pews. He lit the candles and then looked around the church, looking for something to draw.
Takuro continued to work on his sketch in the candlelight. He glanced up at one of the stained windows, taking in the part he was working on before looking back down. The picture portrayed an angel with a sword in his hand. His wings were wrapped around a small group of children. Takuro jumped and looked at the door when he heard a bang. He quickly relaxed when he saw that the door had opened. Placing his pencil behind his ear, he made his way to the door and glanced outside.
Takuro could feel a pair of eyes on him but on the darkened wall, he couldn't see anyone. His hand went up to his pencil, making sure it was still there and he ventured out a little more. Large raindrops from the roof hit his already soaked head. "Is anyone there?" he said above the rain. Haruka came out to show himself "I'm, Haruka Asane." He glared still at the virtue He despised their innocence. He gritted his teeth at his own forced smile.
Takuro turned towards Haruka. He didn't like the look his man was giving. It was like he already hated him. Then realization hit him. Perhaps this was one of the Sins. In any case, Takuro smiled friendly and said, "Nice to meet you, I'm Takuro." He noticed that the man was pretty drenched. "Would you like to come inside? It's drier you know."
Haruka really envied him, He smiled brightly this time "Yes I would like that, Takuro's a nice name." He let him lead him in. He didn't say rude things about him he hated him a lot. He sensed another sin.
"Thanks." he said as the two of them went inside. Once the two were inside, Takuro shut the door and went back to the alter. He grabbed a few more candles and lit them. "I know it's not much but at least it's light, right?" he said apologetically. He wiped off his semi-wet pencil before sticking it behind his ear again. Haruka felt his heart pained by this virtues sight. He looked away from him with huge hatred He hated him for being innocent. He gets envious at him.
