Prologue
BPOV:
Red. The crimson liquid flowed freely from my weak and pale arm. It was finally ending, the pain and suffering. My pain and silence couldn't hurt them anymore, couldn't hurt him anymore. I loved him with all my heart, every fiber of my being, but I can't hurt him like this any longer. I slowly felt the dark black abyss coming. As my eyes slowly fell shut I heard my name being screamed and the sound of crying. There was a loud bang to my right and I felt myself being lifted up into a pair of strong arms. I opened my eyes slowly to see my angel. I smiled at my Edward one last time before I shut my eyes and my whole world went black. I could hear his screams for me to wake up but I ignored them. I couldn't hurt him anymore. He was my life but he can't love a freak like me, a mute. "I love you Edward, I'm sorry with every fiber of my being. I hope you can forgive me someday." Were my last thoughts before I gladly let the darkness surround me. His screams still echoing in my ears...
