A/N: This is the manifestation of an overly-active, dark imagination. It's short and to the point, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. Note: this is not a piece of a series.

Her hair, once bleach-blonde, had taken a deep, dark, dangerous brunette shade; her eyes, once brown and expressive, became a shocking shade of green; her height had grown an extra inch and a half, as shown in the patch of skin visible around her ankles.

But, most impressively, these weren't the first changes to register in her mind as, surrounded by a golden haze, she gazed into the mirror across the room. There, in her eyes- what was that? Something gray and glossy darted about behind her eyes amongst the green.

There's something of the wolf about you…

The sun shone brilliantly through the glass above her, and she basked its mystical light as it bounced off the mirrored walls and blinded her; it cast the corners into shadow, but she stood in its warmth there in the center of the room, soaking it up and radiating its golden glow. Blinking, she shook her head, clearing it of all thoughts but one: where was she?

You burnt like the sun…

Moments before she had stood beneath the moon in white, windowless room with high walls and glass ceilings; mirrors had reflected her from below as the moon outside had cast shadows about the corners, alighting her and emphasizing her brilliant blonde hair. The silver glow had encompassed her body, and she had felt a strange flutter somewhere from within herself.

All I require is the moon…

The sound of approaching feet sent her running inadvertently toward the door, and she stepped back into the darkness.
