Perfect Angel:
A story about Usagi and her once innocence…
Perfect Angel:
By: Juliet Taylor (HaruMichi)
A little girl...the most angelic little girl, grew up as pure as can be. With crystal blue eyes that brought the sky to shame for it's lack of magnificence. A cheerful grin, plastered upon that flawless innocent face that brought warmth to hearts of the lucky ones who got to witness it. Simply perfection...
She was the perfect example of what a human being should be. Her light, her warmth, her presence, could not be missed. That beautiful bright light. One look from her brought even the coldest of icebergs to melt in to a spring field. One touch could bring the darkest of nights to shine again and bring out the day. She was that magical.
People naturally loved to be around that little child. Maybe, it was her cheerfulness that brought hope for a new day. Maybe, it was her innocence that made her seem angelic. Or maybe, it was her strength, the way after every fall, every trip, every mistake, she didn't give up. But stood up bravely, with a kind smile on her face saying I'm all right.
She never lost sight of what she wanted, and fought for the things she believed in. Never following her dreams, but leading them herself. She was a child, yes, but she was the smart one. Believing love was worth believing in, and good was found in all sorts of people. She was an angel, maybe the only one who could be truly named pure. A flawless angel...until they came along..
Those people, who called themselves her protectors, yet destroying her in the process. Those devils, taking her away from me to taint her and destroy her wings, her only key to freedom. Yet they didn't care, only seeing their selfish needs, and yet she let them...so naive.
And so, they morphed her in to a woman, before she was even ready….
But I still watched. Trying to make sure she was happy.
I watched her fall in love with the devil of all devils. And fall she did… Yet she forgave him through it all. Love blinding her. And blindly she forgot all about us, and the world up there…
Her once cheerful eyes, unnoticeably faded, losing their spark. Her once bright smile, becoming a bitter one. And all her perfection disappearing from view, everyone only seeing her flaws. She wasn't her, anymore…
Yet, I still waited...
Maybe if I waited she would come back.. But she never did.
And as each day passed, my angel slowly became someone completely different. And died from sight.
Because, that woman in front of me is not her….
She can never be her…
My perfect angel has become the devil…
