"UGH," Jade whined, "I'm so board"

Beck almost said, "Well you're in here because you put a frog down Tori's shirt and you're supposed to be thinking about what you did." He had won student/teacher month in Sikowitz's class and he had to assign Jade a lunch detention for doing that. It was just the two of them in there and they had been there all of 15 seconds. His next thought was to say "come on you can't be board. You've only been in here less then a minute." Suddenly he realized that she thought he was trying to be romantic with her. Well that hadn't been the original idea but what the heck. Why not try to score some brownie points?

"Board huh," he said smiling flirtatiously at her, "Hm... and I bet you're hungry too"

"No," she said, "I ate before I got here. I had a free period before lunch."

"Well I'm hungry," he said, "I'm really hungry"

"Oh... what are you hungry for?"

Instead of answering the question he cut her off with a kiss. It was a passionate kiss and one that was gentle but at the same time hungry.

"That," he said, "was good for an appetizer."

"Oh yeah," Jade said, "I liked it a lot"

Beck learned a long time ago that the way to get through to Jade was with love and he learned that done the right way he could get out of the dog house with her and never even be in it. He learned that when he made her sit on the steps in Tori's house. Three seconds after sitting down she started whining. He asked her if she was ready to be polite. She rolled her eyes.

"Jade you're here because you were rude," he said.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah and you got mad at me because I don't know when to shut up," she said.

He had gotten mad at Jade about a week ago for embarrassing Tori and telling a secret of hers and Jade still hadn't forgiven him for that. She brought it up constantly in subtle and not so subtle ways.

"Jade," Beck said, "Come on. You know I-"

Suddenly he was hit with an idea. He walked over to her kissed her and said, "tell you what. Every time you're polite you earn a kiss. If you earn 10 kisses you will win a dinner at La Shayla's tomorrow night"

Jade's kiss brought him back to the day and place he was in. He noticed that she was wearing the dress he loved her in. How in the **** did she manage to change in 30 seconds.

"This was such a great idea," she told him kissing him, "We haven't been alone together in awhile"

Idea? She thinks I planned it like this? Well I didn't but what she doesn't know won't hurt me. Actually it could do just the opposite of hurting me.

Forty-five minutes later they were deep into a make-out season when the bell rang.

"Maybe I'll pour ice water down Tori's shirt next week," Jade said, "After all I like what happened today"
