A young panther demon walks through school with her backpack held close to her, ears back and tail straight up. She's late to class again for the third week in a row, the reason being she stood outside the school after her mother dropped her off until the final bell rang and the students slowly stopped filing in to the building one by one.

She walked into the classroom timidly.

"Kagome you're late…again! Hurry to your seat." The teacher said

"Gomen nasai…" she whispered bowing rushing to her seat. Class continued and Kagome stared out the window wishing for the day to be over just as quickly as it had started.

Soon it was Lunch and Kagome was dreading it. She stood in line for her food and as soon as it was placed on the tray she rushed out as fast as she could but someone was standing in her path.

"Um…excuse me Kikyo" the timid girl said. The girl moved out the way only to snatch the tray and trip Kagome then dump the food on her. "You should watch yourself you could get really hurt." Kikyo said with a smirk then walked away. Kagome got up and ran to the bathroom crying with her ears flattened and tail tucked.

School was finally over and Kagome had to take the bus since her mom had to work late on a business deal at the office. Getting on the bus she went straight to the back and put on her head phones and started listening to Four Seasons. She got off the bus and walked into the house to see boxes packed. Kagome ran to her room to see everything packed into boxes, she walked into the kitchen to look for something to eat and saw a note on the fridge.

Kagome, we're moving to Tokyo since I got a promotion today I'm sorry I have to work late and couldn't tell you in person dinner is in the fridge for you. Love Mom

Kagome pulled out the miso soup her mom had previously made for her and heated it up and ate it. She pulled out the homework from school and tossed it in the garbage since she wouldn't be turning it in on Monday and went to bed with a smile on her face for the first time in a while.
