life decided before it's begun
hunting till death and though we die many times
each time we take our last breath we make sure to say our goodbyes
from family of four to family of three
and then one day it was just you and me
looking back then I wonder
if we found more than we lost
mom and dad
ellen and jo
bobby and kevin
how far does it go
charlie our little sister
and
adam little brother
though we gain many family members we often lost one another
as I lie here not sleeping
I ask myself
