HEY GUYS! AUGUST 2ND IS TODAY AND IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! IM 19! WOOHOO! ANYWAY I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS SHORT 2 PART STORY! :D
It's Halloween night in National City. All the streets were filled with trick-or-treaters knocking on doors, showing off their costumes to onlookers, going to parties, meeting up with friends, and getting candy. Everyone overall was having a great time. However, there were two teenagers who better get a move on because the night is drawing to an end.
Danvers Household 9:30 pm
"Ugh! Kara! Hurry up! You have been up there for an hour!" Alex yelled up the stairs while sluggishly leaning on the rail of the staircase. It's easy to tell that she's irritated. "You have to wait Alex! I have to get this cape on just right! Plus, you know the tights were hard to put on as well!"
"Are you-" Alex stopped herself as she shakes her head and sighs "Oh Rao, do you want me to help you?!"
"No! I got it!" Kara yelled back which earned a loud groan from Alex as she leaned heavily on the railing and she yelled: "Then what the hell is taking you so long?! You are going slower than Titanic sinking up there!"
"Just wait a minute alright?!" Kara yelled right on back to her, causing Alex to throw her head back in frustration.
"Help?!" Alex suggested as an offer.
"NOPE!"
"UGH!" Alex groaned out loudly as she pushed herself off the railing and made her way to the couch in the living room, sat down and pouted with her arms fold across her chest. Eliza Danvers, who happened to be in the kitchen cleaning up, noticed the situation and couldn't help but chuckle at the two sisters going at it with each other. "Having trouble getting Kara out of the room I see?" Eliza said which caused Alex to let out a huge exhale.
"Yeah! I can't that sloth out of the room!"
"I CAN HEAR YOU REMEMBER!" Kara exclaimed.
"YOU CAN HEAR THAT BUT YOU CAN'T HEAR ME TELLING YOU TO COME ON!"
"YOU JUST NEED TO CHILL AND WAIT! STOP BEING A KANYE!"
"ARGH!" Alex threw her hands up in the air and slams them down hard on the couch. She turns to her mom. "Why is she so stubborn?!"
"Gee. Now that sounds awfully familiar" Eliza said quietly enough for only herself to hear.
Apparently, Alex had heard her and gave her mother a glare and Eliza playfully put up her hands in defense. "Sorry but it's true"
"Still, that's me. We're talking about Kara, mom. It's impossible to get her down from up there!" Alex pointed out to her
Eliza couldn't help but smirk at this because if there was something that she knew about Kara, it's her greatest weakness.
She then said to Alex. "Did you tell Kara that there will be potstickers at the party?"
Just before Alex got to say anything, she heard Kara yelled out. "Potstickers?!"
Alex's eyes widen in total shock! She turned to her mother who just gave her a wink as she took a sip from her tea.
It was then Alex put two and two together. She used Kara's greatest weakness against her. Potstickers.
"Mom, you're a genius" Alex said to her mom as Eliza and she waited patiently for Kara to show their outfit.
