A/NThis one may not sound like a LoTR poem, but it is. I had the idea after I watched the whole "there is always hope" thing between Aragorn and Halas. Its about just that, hope.
:Through A Child's Eyes:
Looking up at the sky, you see... gray
Looking into is eyes, gray is also the dominant color
But looking at the blood soaked floor, you see a dry patch amidst the red
you see a child
Looking at the sky through the child's eyes,
you see a patch of blue
Looking into the child's eyes, you see green
Looking into the child's mind, carelessness is all you see
Now look once more at the world around you
After looking through a child's eyes, the gray no longer appears
After looking through a child's eyes,
you see hope
