Aria of Symphony: Edited. Took away the song that wasn't a song. It was creepy.
His Huntress
An assassin walked down the hallway, he was going to talk to his party member about the plans for the next day. But as he reached the door, he heard her singing softly to herself. He stopped in his tracks and listened. He rarely heard her voice and he realized just now, she had the voice of an angel.
He murmured the huntress' name softly.
Who was she talking about? He thought as his chest tightened.
He watched as the woman he loved lied down on her side, stroking her falcon and murmuring words he could not hear.
His heart ached with longing.
In his heart, hope arose.
She's been in his party for a long time, but so has her cousin.
What if she's staying because of her cousin?
No. he knew she could have left a long time ago, but she stayed.
Then at the back of his head he heard a voice.
Tell her you idiot.
Tell her how you feel!
Have courage!
But what of rejection? I've been in love with her for a long time, what if she rejects me?
Courage. You're an assassin for God's sake, aren't you supposed to have tons of courage?
He fell silent, even though this felt stupid; he realized the voice was right. He would lose her to someone else if he didn't try.
He sighed, he was cold and heartless at first but everything changed when he met her, she was sweet and gentle, always there to listen to someone's problems. Like as if she didn't have any herself. She would speak to him before but as he invited more and more members to the party, she seemed to drift away from him.
She spoke only a few times but being around her, it was impossible not to feel cared for.
He mustered all the courage he had and opened the door; he watched as the huntress turned and looked at him, tender rose colored eyes met his.
"Izusa…" he started.
She sat up.
"Yes?" she whispered softly.
"There's something you need to know."
A glimmer of hope appeared in her eyes before slowly disappearing.
"What is it?" the huntress asked, anticipation clear in her gentle eyes.
"Izusa…" he said as he walked closer to her "I…I…." he couldn't say it, he was terrified.
"Tell me." she said encouragingly as she flashed him a gentle smile.
Somtimes he wondered how such a gentle huntress could be so powerful in the battlefield.
He sat down beside her on the bed.
"I…Love…You." He said softly.
He felt her hand on his cheek and he looked up.
"Rei…I love you." She sighed before slipping both arms around his neck and giving him a tender kiss on the lips then pulling away.
The assassin smiled and his arms found their way around her waist, he stared into her eyes before pressing his lips onto hers.
He relished the taste of her tongue against his, her hands on his chest, her body so close to his.
The assassin smiled as he fell asleep that night, with the huntress in his arms, she was finally his.
He stroked her hair slowly as he stared at the ceiling of her room.
"Izusa, I know you'll always be there, I know you'll always be there for me. I love you." He murmured to his huntress.
He smiled. He liked the sound of that.
His huntress.
Aria of Symphony: Well, that's it. Ciao
