99 Crystal Shards
Note: I do not own the song "99 Red Balloons". Nor ever will. I do not own Ribbon or Prince Fluff either, just Jasmine and Lilian.
Ribbon the fairy woke up one morning to find herself in a patch-like world.
"Huh? Where am I?" she called, hoping for a reply. Glancing down, Ribbon saw that she was made of yarn!
A blue yarn puffball walked up to her. He was wearing a crown, and had orange feet. "Who are you?" he asked.
"My name's Ribbon."
"I'm Prince Fluff, ruler of Patch Land." Fluff held out his hand. After getting a better look at her, he said, "I think Kirby told me about you. Yeah! Ribbon the fairy, from Ripple Star. He helped you when the Dark Matter invaded, right?"
"Yeah."
Just then, two more yarn people showed up. One was a sky-blue female puffball, who had a tail, ears, and auburn hair being held back by a headband with the sun on it. Her eyes were green. There was another puffball, colored silver and also a girl. She held a blue lance, and had pitch black hair, held in one corner by a moon hairpin. Her eyes were blue.
"Jasmine, why are we puffballs?" the tailed one asked to her silver friend.
"I'm not to sure Lilian," the other replied.
Prince Fluff walked over to them. "Welcome to Patch-"
He was cut off by Lilian. "FLUFF!" she shouted, tackling the yarn prince.
"Huh?" Fluff became confused and a bit scared. Jasmine walked up to him, and started pulling her companion off of him.
"I'm Jasmine," Jasmine told the prince and fairy. "My friend here is Lilian."
"Ribbon."
"I'm Prince Fluff."
After they had chatted for a bit, Ribbon realized that she had lost all the crystal shards again.
"Aw, come on!" she shouted.
"What?" the others asked.
"I managed to lose all of the crystal shards again," she told them, sighing in defeat.
"We'll help you," Fluff said.
"Us too!" Lilian squeaked.
"Thanks. Now, let's go!"
"Wait!" Fluff shouted. "We should eat this Metamato before we begin, so we can transform into awesome things." Everyone took a bite, and felt as if they could fly to the moon and back in a day.
The four yarn people set out on their quest to find the crystal shards. Ribbon was the main searcher, Fluff was looking for hints on how to collect a shard, Jasmine was in charge of finding food, and Lilian had to find secret tunnels to get items. Finally, they made it to the ending, where they could find the last shard.
"Ready guys?" Ribbon asked.
"Yes."
"Then let's go." The four of them walked into the area, and were met with familiar voices.
"We meet again, Prince Fluff!" one said.
"Ah, Ribbon," the other called.
The two figures stepped out of the shadows, revealing themselves to be Yin Yarn and Zero 2! Except this time, the two villains were combined into one super being, known as Yinero Yarn 2!
"AH!" everyone screamed, hugging each other.
Suddenly, Meta Knight swooped down into the battlefield and threw two Tankbot Metamortexes. Lilian and Jasmine grabbed one, while Fluff and Ribbon leaped for the other. They turned into two yarn tanks, known as Jasian(Jasmine and Lilian) and Flubon(Fluff and Ribbon).
"Flubon and Jasian VS Yinero Yarn 2!" an announcer shouted, flying by.
The four heroes started attacking Yinero Yarn 2.
"DIE!" Ribbon screamed from her part of Flubon.
After merciless beating, egg shells, meat, tacos, banana rain, flying poptarts, giraffe riding, Nyan Cat interruptions, and many fish slaps, Yinero Yarn 2 was defeated. Fluff, Ribbon, Jasmine, and Lilian split back apart and to their normal selves.
"We did it!" They all shouted, cheering for their victory.
"I also got 99 Crystal Shards!" Ribbon exclaimed. Suddenly, all of the Shards were put into red balloons.
Smiling, everyone sang, "99 red balloons, floating in the endless sky! Something, something, something else, 99 red balloons go by!"
