She had seen all the signs, but never had she thought of this outcome. She'd watched them over this first year. They were close. Too close, it almost seemed. She'd seen them hug, playfully chase each other, Hell, they almost always slept together. She had always just shrugged it off as it simply being because they were the only two of their species. After all, if humans tended to stick together, then why not robots too? But she had been wrong. Oh, so wrong.
Chell stood in the doorway, watching in pure awe as Wheatley and Neil kissed. She had no idea robots could portray such displays of affection. That they could be so passionate, so... human.
The androids' bodies melted into each other, fitting together like puzzle pieces. They leaned against each other, each supporting the other's weight. Neil stood facing a wall, using one knee and both his long arms to keep Wheatley propped up against it while Wheatley in turn kept himself securely in place by wrapping his arms and legs around Neil's torso.
Wheatley softly moaned, clenching some of the fabric of Neil's shirt into his fingers. The red head giggled at this, sending small vibrations through his partner's lips. Wheatley's eyes fluttered open, lazily scanning the room in which they stood.
"Ahhh!" Wheatley screamed upon seeing Chell. His pupils dilated as he tore his face away from the other's. The Brit's face flushed red as he realized a string up saliva connecting his mouth and Neil's mouth. He shoved him away, throwing off the balance and causing him to drop Wheatley.
"I, uh, okay, bit awkward, this is, for you, probably. A-and me as well, maybe even Neil too, but uh..." Wheatley mumbled nervously, wiping his mouth. Chell's face only contorted in disgust at this. "Look, I know what this looks like, but it isn't. Well, uh, no, no it is what it looks like. But! But, um, if you'll just give me a chance to explain-."
Wheatley was cut off by the sound of the door slamming behind a shocked and repulsed Chell. That hadn't gone over as smoothly as he'd hoped. Wheatley shot Neil a nervous glance who replied with a blank stare. The next couple of days were going to be awkward for all of them.
