People always assume diamonds are the best thing in minecraft to use as money. I will now reveal a shocking secret... they aren't. It's actually emeralds. Now I know what your thinking. You think that I am a lunatic for thinking that. Well please hear me out. First of all, diamonds aren't really good money. They are used for other things and you find them a lot. Emeralds are nearly impossible to find, so it's not like you just randomly find money. Also, you can craft diamonds. That gives them a different use. You don't use emeralds for anything else. Another things is that diamonds are never used in villager trading. Emeralds are always used in villager trading, which makes them all the more like money.
