Was listening to music, and I heard this song. I've just been in the mood for writing lately, so here you are! It's a songfic for "Unforgivable" by "The Material". I love them so much! Lol, gunna go, and let you read.

I Don't Own Young Justice, Or This Song

Unforgivable

How did this happen? Artemis's brown eyes opened, a stranger's face right there. Her clothes were lying, wrinkled, all over the floor. In her heart, all she felt was guilt, strong and overwhelming. She was sick. As she tried to sit up properly, the room spun, around and around. It just wouldn't stop. Time to go home. Artemis thought. She knew it was too late to say she had a promise to keep. That she couldn't and wouldn't do this.

She knew she had made a mistake. "He'll never forgive me." She said out loud as she threw up in the too-small bathroom. "And he'll never forget about this." He knew her faults, better than she did. But did Wally believe in her? "Am I that bad?" A tear fell from her eye. "Please forgive me."

It was crystal clear in the back of her head. The flashbacks coming without warning in an instant. The way his lips taunted her so, the way they looked reminding her of Wally back home. His eyes were lying, there was no way he could ever tell the truth. In the back of her mind, Artemis knew she'd had one too many. How could she have been stupid enough to trust herself? How?

She was on the way home. The tears fell freely, and she didn't care who saw them. It was time to confess. She wouldn't need to say anything, that was sure. Wally would see it, clear as day, written across her face.

All I had to say was "I can't" Artemis thought. "I won't break my promise, commitment, to Wally. I love him too much." Now, she had a horrible mistake weighing her down. It was unforgivable, and she knew it. No one would be able to forget such a thing. How Wally knew her so well made no difference. She wasn't that bad, was she? Would she have to beg to be forgiven?

"Baby please won't you spend the night with me? You and I, don't you know that we could be never again?" His voice rung in the back of Artemis's mind. "What a lie." She said, though he wasn't around to hear all of the pure venom dripping from her words. How could she? Do that. Break Wally's trust in her. How?

"I know I made a horrible mistake. It's unforgivable." Artemis was standing in front of Wally now. There was no way she could hold back. The minute she walked through the front door, her head was on his shoulder, her tears staining his shirt. "And I know there's no way to forget it. You know my faults. But do you believe me when I say this doesn't mean I don't love you? Am I so unforgivable? Please forgive me..."

"Please..." Artemis looked up at Wally, waiting for the pain of rejection. He'd never forgive her. Never. After what she did, she couldn't blame him. She really was unforgivable.

"I will." Wally said quietly. "I'll forgive you."

"How?" Artemis said, in shock.

"Because, as much as you hurt me, I still love you. And I always will Arty." He kissed her on the lips. "Forever."

There ya are! I love this couple. I don't think Arty would ever cheat on Wally, but she was the first person I thought of when I decided to write a songfic for the song. Only Azar knows why...
