"Doctor! Where's the doctor!"

A middle-aged woman burst into the door, knocking people out of her way. "I need to see the doctor!" "Wait in line just like everyone else, lady!" an old man grumpily yelled after her as he waved his cane in the air. Ignoring him, the woman rushed through the crowd, completely focusing on her task. She screeched to a halt in front of the doctor's office. She kicked the door down, breathing heavily. Her bloodshot eyes looked around for any sign of the doctor.

She went out of the room and ran out to the operating room. It had a sign on the door that said Occupied, but she ignored it and burst in. She saw an operation in business, and that meant that the doctor was there. She saw him concentrating on the process of sewing up the patient. "Okie dokie, we are done here," she heard him say. The doctor turned around and was surprised at the woman in the room.

"Excuse-a me, but you can't be in here right now," he said.

The woman ran up to him and hugged him really tight, covering herself up in blood. She began to cry on his shoulder, but the doctor was confused at this. He looked at his fellow coworkers to see if they knew about this. They answered with a confused shrug as well.

"Thank you…" she sobbed. "You saved my life."

"I did…?"

"Yes. Those colorful pills really helped kill those viruses. Without them I would have been dead in minutes!"

The doctor scratched the back of his head. "Well, it's in a day's work of being a doctor," he said. He remembered now that yesterday he had prescribed red, blue, and yellow colored pills to this woman, because she had a terrible illness. Now she looked like nothing was wrong with her. There was no trace of any side effects of the illness.

She pulled away from him and dabbed her eyes with her purple sleeves. "I am forever in your debt, Doctor Mario," she said. She looked at everyone else and excused herself from the room.

The doctor never has received such a form of gratitude for his actions. He felt very proud of his achievement of bringing good health to everyone in need. This unexpected visit from the woman will be a day he would never forget. "Well," he told his coworkers, "Let's get-a washed up!"

Okay, I wrote this, because I wanted to try to see how it would look like if Dr. Mario was appreciated in being a doctor, meanwhile everyone usually depicts him as a crazy doctor or something (like that Dr. Mario song on YouTube. Look it up if you haven't seen it already). This is a nice change to his image, and I like it. Doctors should be appreciated, especially if they've done a wonderful job helping you out. Thank you! :D
