Dean glanced up from the stack of papers he was leafing through. "Magicians, huh?"
Sam nodded. "Yep. The one was found dead on the street, ten stab wounds, no holes in his clothes."
"And that just screams 'cheap Vegas act' to you?"
"He died the same night another magician was doing the 'table of death.' It's an escape act where the magician is tied up and has a minute to get out before he's filleted by a bed of nails."
"Oh. Yeah, that does sound suspicious."
"So we're checking it out?"
Dean grunted his agreement and began gathering up the papers. A smile spread across his face. "Hey, Sammy," he said, holding up a pencil. "Wanna see a magic trick?"
