Inuyasha and the gang stop for a wrest after looking for Naraku's castle for hours.. Poor Kagome falls asleep and dreams of a semi-normal life in her own time, where Inuyasha and the others live their live's as typical high student's.
Chapter 1
*I love you's*
"Inuyasha, is ok if we wrest for a while? We have been walking for hours, and my feet are starting to hurt.." asked kagome groaned. She was drowsy from the night before, because of their deamon slaying expidition.
"No way! We got to keep looking to find where Naraku's hide out is." Inuyasha barked back.
A very persistant Mirouku added a comment to Kagome's request. Inuyasha we've have been looking for Naraku's castle for hours on end. I think we can spare a few minutes. Beside's there's a village up ahead, and i'm sure one of there house's can spare some lodging for us tonight. We could head out in the morning and look for Naraku. Before Mirouk had the chance to throw out his next comment Inuyasha had thrown one of his own out. No need we could keep walking and sleep outside tonight!
I want to sleep inside to night, and i want to take a nice hot bath! Kagome said anxiously. Inuyasha a bit suprised and scared agreed with no more comments allowed, he simply kept them to himself... afraid of another outbreak from Kagome's end of the conversation.
Miroku this place is so beautiful! How did you get us a place like this? Asked Kagome. I promised to Purify the house of the evil aura I sensed Mirouku replied with a smirk. In other words he swindled the poor people into letting stay here and eat. Shippo replied. It's not swindling... it's using what resources I have tomake sure all you guys are all confortable for the night. Miroku said with a Even bigger smirk while drinking his tea. Not to soon later five of the head masters house maiden's brought in there food. With a momment of hesitation Miroku jumped up. Kagome and Inuyasha wispering in the back ground, "Miroku's at again Kagome gave out a big sigh.... "That lecture's monk never takes a break does he." Inuyasha said. Miroku had all five of the lady's around him and with a big smile simply asked "Exscuse me miss, would you do me the honor of bearing my childern? Sango are you ok?" asked kagome.
I'm fine.. He can do what ever he wants. It's not like i'm jealous or anything! said an angered yet sorowful Sango. Ok just checking Kagome quickly said with a bit of sympathy for her.
Kagome had soon noticed that the head man wasn't as generous as they all had thought. He had only gave them one room between all of them. After everyone got out of the hotsprings they all layed down to go to bed.
Not much later Inuyasha awoke to kagome's voice. She was dreaming... inuyaha had gone over to her to see her, thinking that she may of been having a night mare. When he went over he noticed something differnt, she was smiling. Just as he was going to turn to go back to bed he heard his name... " Inuyasha I.. I luv...." What was she going to say?! Kagome don't just leave me hanging! Finish what you were going to say! "Inuyasha, I love you". She loves me… "Kagome, I love you too." Inuyasha said soothingly as he stroked Kagome's head. It was fairly cold in the room and Shippo was taking up most of the space in Kagome's sleeping bag. Inuyasha could see Kagome shivering. So he carefully pickd up Kagome and brought her to where Inuyasha he was sleeping. He placed her in a comfortable position on his lap and placed his kimono on top of her. Inuyasha had then wrapped his arms around her, as if he never wanted to let go, and driftted back to sleep.
