Toadette was at the Coconut Mall, buying a cake for the Honey Queen Bee as she was with the red robbed Shy Guy that was playable most of the time. The two were in a cake shop that was on the left side of the open garden in the middle of the tropical shopping mall.
"Excuse me, miss, do you have a strawberry shortcake?" Toadette asked as she held her hands together, blinking innocently.
The yellow colored Noki worker moved her hands about. "Sorry, miss, we don't have strawberry. We do have chocolate icing cake..."
Toadette jumped onto the counter and grabbed the Noki worker, shaking her angrily as she yelled, "Don't mess with me, miss! I said I want a strawberry shortcake right now! You better get me that, or I'm gonna-"
Suddenly Chief Chilly blasted through the ground, landing back down on the ground as everyone screamed, with the Noki worker retreating into her shell. Toadette and Shy Guy yelped as they held each other, being frightened as Chief Chilly growled.
"There you are!" Chief Chilly exclaimed as he eyed Toadette and Shy Guy. "I got something to tell you two..."
When suddenly the entire mall shook as in a nearby grocery store, food flew everywhere as Wario ran out of it, stealing food and placing them in his overalls as he munched on sugar cookies.
"I like cookies!" Wario exclaimed as he froze, seeing the commotion in the cake shop across the garden.
Chief Chilly growled as he stomped his right foot several times, summoning various Ice Bullies as he pointed at Wario. "Get him!"
"D'oh!" Wario exclaimed as he began running for his life, only to be frozen by the breath of a nearby Ice Bully. Before Wario could be smashed, Toadette quickly dashed over and picked up the heavy Wario, holding him above her head.
"I don't know why I'm doing this!" Toadette exclaimed as she ran all around the garden. "Maybe it's because I'm secret friends with Wario!"
Shy Guy gulped as Chief Chilly turned to him, with the frightened creature yelping as he chucked a nearby vanilla frosted cake at Chief Chilly, ensuring chaos. Chief
Chilly began blowing cold breaths of air around the area as Toadette was running around at the speed of sound around the garden, with one of the Ice Bullies slipping on some fruit loops.
"My leg!" A random male Mii exclaimed as Toadette pushed him out of a yellow pipe framed kart, placing Wario on the back as she began driving it, heading up the staircase as the Ice Bullies chased after her.
Chief Chilly jumped into a nearby green pipe framed kart, but it broke. He then jumped into another pipe frame kart, blue colored, as he started it up, turning to three Ice Bullies wearing sombreros.
"Play some appropriate music while I chase after Toadette and that fat idiot with the hideous mustache!" Chief Chilly exclaimed as he raced after Toadette.
The three Ice Bullies with sombreros shrugged as they jumped into three orange pipe framed karts, playing saxophone somehow as they followed Chief Chilly, somehow being able to drive at the same time as all the various different shoppers in the mall ran for their lives, most of them being flattened in the process.
