The one where the particle accelerator gets turned on
Emily Allen had never been very good at science, in fact, back in high school she hated it—whether it was because of the boring teachers or how she wasn't friends with anyone in her class, she wasn't too sure.
Harrison Wells, however, made it interesting.
Which was exactly why she agreed to let her best friend and cousin drag her out to watch the particle accelerator be turned on. She didn't care much about the science behind it that Barry kept rambling on about from beside her, she just let him speak, allowing the words to go into one ear and out the other. Barry finally fell silent once Harrison Wells stepped onto the stage area to deliver his speech, the two watched the screen that was showing what was happening on the inside of STAR Labs while the two cousins were sat outside of the building where it was less crowded.
"I still can't believe that thee Harrison Wells has achieved this!" Barry gasped once the speech had ended and the accelerator was about to be switched on, colourful fireworks abruptly erupted into the sky. Bursts of pink, orange, purple and silver illuminated the sky as people cheered and celebrated; the accelerator was on and it was clearly a success.
Emily grinned as she picked up a sparkler and began to wave it around spelling out 'Barry' to her cousin who was smiling and laughing along with her. Suddenly Emily felt something harshly hit her side, causing her to fall over, the last thing she heard was someone shout her name before she blacked out. The sparkler still in her hand glowed brighter before burning out completely.
