A/N: first off you must know this isn't Oliver in his hogwarts. This is Oliver years and years later. But hey it's alll good. This is part of a whole series by the way. There will be others pov's on the whole Marcus/Percy relationship.
I'm never going to pretend I understand them. I mean, I've never truly liked Marcus, but Percy seems to, so I guess I'll get over it. I've never been in love like that, even though I've been married for the past four years. I don't love Penny like that, sometimes I wish I did.
I remember when I first found out that my best friend was gay, let alone gay with my worst enemy. You better believe I was shocked. I couldn't believe that the one person I had shared a room with for almost seven years was actually ... gay. He liked other men to ... well screw him. I couldn't get over it. I wanted to hate him, but I couldn't. He's my best friend and in the end I forgot about the whole gay thing. That was until he wanted me to meet his boyfriend, Marcus Flint. I almost passed out that first time. It wasn't like I had never met Marcus before. We've had many altercations in the past, but meeting him as Percy's lover was something completely different.
First off I've never seen Marcus Flint ... actually be nice to anyone in my life. But there he was, one arm wrapped protectively around my friends slender waist. In those first days they never spoke to each other out loud for every one to hear. The would nustle their noses beneath each others ears and whisper their words to each other. It was kind of sweet in a way. Penny would always punch me in the arm and ask why I never treated her like Marcus treated Percy, to tell you the truth I don't know.
The first time I ever saw them kiss was ... well it was an all new experience for me. You have to understand that while they've never been private about their feelings for each other, neither of them were very into PDA's at that time. They had been together for almost two years the first time I saw them kiss. It was at a quidditch match that I had persuaded Percy to attend. The only reason he even showed up was because the Falmouth Falcons, the team Marcus plays for, was playing. We watched the game and Percy cheered louder than anyone in those stands. It was fun to see him stand up and yell indignantly with the rest of the Falmouth fans whenever one of the referee's called a foul. When the game ended we rushed back to where the players were. Hoping to catch Marcus before he had to leave. We found him pretty easily, I have to say I've never seen Marcus Flint smile like the way he smiled when he spotted Percy. The embraced quickly, completely forgetting how in public they were, and kissed deeply. They kissed like they would never see each other. Like they were drowning in each other. It was ... very ... deep.
Now they've been together for five years. We are getting ready to go to the party that Mrs. Weasley is throwing for them. I think Marcus is going to propose to Percy tonight. I just hope that Percy will says yes, I'm sure he will.
Congratulations Marcus and Percy
