Why did I love her? Was it her innocent smile? Her pure heart? Or something else entirely? I pondered this thought for some time. Maybe it was her eyes... I honestly had no idea what it was about her, but she was mine.
I looked up into the sky. The sun was shining brightly today. Sara would love it here. That's when I decided I'd go get Sara and show her this beautiful place. I got up and about an hour later I was at the hotel. I ran up the stairs and into our room.
"Sara? Are you in here?"
"Over here!"
"What're you doing under there?"
Her butt was sticking out from under the bed.
"I dropped my bracelet under the bed. Oh and you better not be staring at my butt."
I looked away.
"Setsuna? Can you help me get it?"
"Okay..."
I crawled under the other side of the bed.
"Sara I don't see it."
"It's right over there by the wall."
I felt around the floor and then touched something that felt like a bracelet. I pulled it out.
"Is this it?"
"Yes! Thank you for helping me Setsuna!"
She hugged me tightly, but then I remembered why I came back to the hotel.
"Sara there's something I wanted to show you."
"What is it?"
"Come on I'll show you."
"Okay..."
We walked out of the hotel and continued walking.
"Setsuna how much further do we have to walk I'm tired."
"Don't worry we're almost there."
A few minutes passed and we finally reached our destination. We sat under the single tree that overlooked the ocean.
"Setsuna... It's... beautiful..."
The black night sky was twinkling with millions of little stars.
"Setsuna?"
"Yes?"
"I love you..."
"I love you too..."
She kissed me and placed her haed on my shoulder. I think at that moment I realized why I loved her... She understood me, she was gentle, but most of all... she loved me... She was my angel. We stayed there as if frozen in time gazing up into the starlit sky.
