Hello there.
My name is Maverick Parker, but everyone calls me Boomer. If you haven't known yet, I'm the co-king of an island called Kinkow, along with my brother, Boz. We are actually triplets, but our brother Brady left a long time ago.
Why, you ask?
Well, there's a girl. Her name is Mikayla Makoola and she works as a guard for the Kings, meaning for Boz and I. Brady's always had a crush on her and even though she kept rejecting him, he never gave up on her.
Until that night.
When Brady overheard Mikayla talking with her friend Candis saying that she will never date him unless he grows up, he left me a note that said he needed to leave and become more mature. I didn't know the real reason why would he do such a thing if Mikayla didn't tell me. At first I was mad and broken, but having Boz around kind of made me dealt with the fact that Brady wasn't there anymore.
But after some time, the old feelings returned.
On one late afternoon, I walked into the plaza and found Boz and Mikayla having Kinkow-super-wow-I-could-die-now banana surprise, Mikayla's favourite snack. Boz told me that he and Mikayla were finally friends, but then there was something that made me have doubts with it.
To me it seemed like Boz had a crush on Mikayla, just like Brady did. I talked to her about it and she told me they didn't like each other, but I was still afraid they did. Then Lanny and I gave them some kind of magic food so they would dislike each other again, but they accidentally ate the whole thing and at the end they almost killed each other. But then it all worked out and everything was back to normal.
Well, almost everything.
During the massacre I said that I didn't want Boz and Mikayla get close because I was afraid that Boz would leave Kinkow like Brady did. That was true, but it wasn't the main reason.
Besides of losing Boz, I was afraid of losing Mikayla. Afraid of losing her to another guy. What do I mean by that? Well. I guess now it's time to reveal my biggest secret yet. A secret that I was hiding for almost three years and when Boz asked me about it, I denied. I denied the truth.
And the truth is that I, Maverick "Boomer" Parker, have fallen in love with a girl by the name Mikayla Makoola.
A/N: I found this while cleaning the computer and decided to put it here, even though I wasn't sure about it. I think it's pretty stupid, but tell me, what is your opinion?
This is just a one-shot so I won't continue it, but I might do some other Boomkayla stories in future, because I'm kinda starting to like this pairing. Yeah.
