Fridge Incident
It was about twelve o'clock at night, and Artemis woke up a little bit hungry. So she decided to go snack on some of M'gann's leftovers in the fridge. She quietly sneaked out of her room and started walking towards the kitchen. Normally she didn't have to do this, but Connor had the whole super hearing thing and she didn't want to wake him up. Artemis was about to walk around the corner into the kitchen but stopped when she heard someone rummaging around. Of course it was Wally.
"Aww man I almost wish I didn't stop to help Uncle Barry with Captain Cold since the others got tacos. Is there anything M'gann can't cook?" Was he seriously talking to himself? Sure sometimes when she left the house, Artemis said things aloud to make sure nothing was forgotten but this is kinda weird.
"Did you miss me baby? I sure missed you!" She peaked around the corner to see Wally hugging the fridge.
"M'gann doesn't even compare to my feelings for you. Everything I need is always here and cold when I want it. No woman could make me happy the way you do." Okay this was serious blackmail material. It just so happens that her phone is still in her pocket because she fell asleep with her clothes on reading a book….
"Tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, cheese….." This was still a really weird/funny situation.
"Hey cookies!" He popped one into his mouth and spit it out in the trash can. "Okay there is one thing she can't cook right."
"I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think I'm in love with my fridge. Technically its everyone's fridge but I know you like me better." Alright this was enough. Time to go back to sleep and scare the crap out of Kid Dork in the morning.
"Good morning Artemis!" M'gann greeted her when she walked into the kitchen. Connor and Kaldur were watching TV while Wally was sitting at the bar eating breakfast.
"Babe you are awesome." Miss M set a plate of bacon and eggs in front of Wally. "You make me one happy guy!" Artemis snickered when she opened a soda can. It was about time to freak him out. She stopped in front of him taking a sip of her Coke.
"But not as happy as the fridge, right Wally?" His jaw dropped and his eyes widened.
Artemis smirked and walked away already forming a plan to humiliate Wally further.
