There was a knock at the door, Lavi looked up gloomily, "Come in," he said, portraying no emotion in his voice. Allen walked through, "This just arrived," a letter was in his hand. Lavi recognized the writing, it was his. "Allen! Allen, where's Mugen?" shouted an angry Kanda. Allen dashed out of the room, slamming the door behind him, leaving Lavi on his own with the letter. Slowly Lavi teared open the letter and read its contents.

Dear Lavi,

I suppose if you're reading this, then I'm.... then I'm dead. I never got a chance to tell you my real feelings and I think it's really stupid how I have to write it out for you, because it was too hard for me to say when I was still alive. I used you to get to Allen Walker, and I'm not going to say the rest of the Noah Family made me do it, because that would be childish and not fair on you. The Millennium Earl sent me off to kill Walker and on the way I pretended to be a friend so I could get close to Allen, but then my plan screwed up. I met a weird guy with crazy red hair and a stupid little hammer that he swings around all the time. I got the chance, I was so close to killing Walker, but right before I unleashed my power, an image of you and Walker laughing appeared in my head, and I knew I couldn't destroy your happiness, so I fled.

We met again, but it wasn't till after some months, all that time I could not do one thing without thinking of your eye-patch, or your crazy hair. But whenever I thought of returning to see you, I couldn't do it, for I knew you'd be angry with me. Anyway, I was sent to ambush you as you know, and was stupidly caught by Yuu Kanda and Allen Walker. You never made eye contact with me, always looking away, but you came to my cell that night, and we talked.

I remember I was teasing you, embarrassing you, but you ignored it and stared right at me, not flinching once. I got annoyed and began other tactics of pissing you off, I said, "Yuu Kanda will never love you, Allen is more than enough for him to handle." You yelled shut up, strode over to me and kissed me. I never forgot that moment, never. Then you set me free and before I left I returned your kiss, then I was gone.

We met up secretly, remember all the hotels we went to, the park in Edo lit up by the stars, the last time I saw you, you told me you loved me, but I could never bring myself to tell you.

Lavi this is the most pathetic I have ever been with anyone, I have never told anyone this. You crazy haired maniac, even though death has parted us my feelings will carry on, forever. I hope to join you again, but hopefully that day will be far far away, live your life Lavi, play with your hammer and defeat the Earl if you must. But never forget me, because I.... I Love You....

Love Forever,

Tyki Mikk

Tears trickled down Lavi's cheeks, "Baka," he whispered, "Baka!" he cried, standing up, throwing the letter to the ground. He leant against the wall, banging his fist on the smooth surface, "Baka!" he cried once more. He bent down and picked up the letter, reading the last line, "But never forget me, because I.... I Love You.... Love Forever, Tyki Mikk". Lavi held the letter up in front of his face, "I Love You Too...."
