Roald watched her, only her. She was the thing he could watch. She mesmerized him and he couldn't imagine why. She was beautiful but when she walked it was with an air of deadly grace. He turned back to his match with Faleron. As he turned back Fal smacked his fingers with the staff.
"Roald, mithros curse you, pay attention!" he barked out. He then followed Roald's eyes to where they lay. A light of understanding came into Fal's eyes.
I'm living for the only thing I know,
I'm running and I'm not quite sure where to go.
The practice time was over and the pages were walknig through the stone corridors. Joren was yelling some b/s about how girls can't fight. He was just mad Kel had beaten him.
"Hey Joren, what's your boyfriend's name?" Kel called.
Joren turned and said......
"My lover's name is Garvey"
Kel burst into giggles and laughed even harder when Joren realized what he had just admitted to the GIRL.
"Oh sorry I was confused, I thought you said a boy who's a friend.."
"you bitch," screamed Garvey in a very feminine voice.(a/n stole that idea from Legally Blonde)
Roald couldn't contain his laughter anymre, he burst into fits of laughter while the realization dawned on him. Kel couldn't be his, wasnt his and never would be. She was his friend and as close as they got they wouldn't be any different.
