I was on a train heading back to my old town where my family was. It's been 5 years since I've seen them. The trip was about 30 minutes and it was around 3:15 when I got off. I grabbed the letter that my younger brother, Aichi sent me a week ago. It has the address where they live now and I started to walk that direction. On the way I noticed a card shop called Card Capital and decided to go inside to check a local card shop. It was pretty much empty inside it. 'I assume this place would be crowded." "Excuse me. Are you new customers?" A man with green hair and glasses said. "Yeah. I just recently came into town and where's everyone." "Normally it starts getting crowded when school over. You can wait here until people start coming in." "Sure." I sat down at a town and grabbed my deck from my bag and start changing up some cards from my deck. "Hey you. Guy with the white hair fight me in vanguard." A boy said holding his vanguard deck in front of my face. "Sure." I said putting down my starting vanguard. "Stand up, Vanguard!" "Lizard Runner, Undeux." He said. "Lunar Fang, Wolg(Grade 0 Power 5000 shield 1000)."

5 minutes later

He was at 2 damage and I was at 1. Our Vanguards was both at grade 1, which is weird cause he should be at grade 2 by now. "How about we make a little bet? Loser gives up one of theirs cards." "Deal." 'He actually fell for it. It's obvious that I'm going to win.' "Final turn." "You're declaring final turn right now. What a noob?" He laughed. "Stand and Draw." I drew my avatar, Blaster Shadow. "Knight of Light and Shadow, under his Majesty's orders take a stand against the battle of Light and Shadow. Stand up my avatar. I ride Blaster Shadow(Grade 2 Power 9000 shield 5000). Call Urufu(Grade 1 Power 6000 shield 5000) and Two Twin Swords(Grade 2 Power 10000 shield 5000)." 'He shouldn't underestimate me.' "Both Twin Swords attacks your Vanguard." That leaves him at 4 damage. "You still think you can we. I'm at 4 damage. There's no way." "Just watch me. With a boost from Urufu, Blaster Shadow. Urufu's skill when boosting a unit that has the name "Blaster Shadow" or "Blaster Techno" the boosted unit gains another 4000 power. Drive check." I flip over the top card of my deck to see a critical trigger. "All effects to Blaster Shadow." He did damage check and no luck with a heal trigger. "No way. I lost." "I win our little bet." I said taking a card that was in his hand. It was a Blaster Blade card. 'This looks like the card I gave Aichi.' "Hey give me back my card. It's really important to me. My brother gave it to me."
