Plot
At the age of 6, Kanji meet a Pro Hero, Endeavour and Vlad King. Kanji wanting to know if it is possible to be a Hero even without a quirk ask the two Pro, Endeavour crushing his dream by saying that it is impossible causing for Kanji have a mental breakdown. Vlad King not having the same idea as Endeavour rejects his claims. Vlad stated that as long as you have the spirit to help anyone, you can be a Hero but being quirkless will be harder for young Kanji that's why he will have to work much harder than anyone.
Later that encounter, Kanji with the determination to not disappoint Vlad, research to what he should train. Even without the help and support of his family, Kanji didn't give, he faced the difficulty alone.
Kanji with his child like thinking thought that he should train his body to be just like Vlad disregarding the thought researching in how to properly train, and so for 4 years Kanji train his body nonstop, he train his endurance, stamina and agility first before going in the big staff like strength, speed and reflexes.
At the age of 8, Kanji realise that training just the body alone is not enough, when his tormentor/bully overpower him. And so that night, he adds to learn fighting style in his schedule. Kanji again with his child like thinking thought that using sword will be the answer to his quirk status and with more than one sword, Kanji is now practitioner of Santoryu, in which the user use three sword two in each hand while third one is in user's mouth, though he is just using some stick or metal pipe because he can't afford a real sword.
Ten months after the realisation, the bully stops with Kanji fighting back with him all the time winning. But the bully didn't stop just not him being the target, Kanji being altruistic he is, stop all the bully because of this Kanji become the saviour for those who bullied.
Three weeks after he gain the title of the saviour, Kanji in his way to his home witness a fight between a hero and a villain normally this will be nothing for him but something caught his attention which is the way the villain evade the hero. The villain using his quirk, which is seems to stretch his arms to an impossible length, gliding anywhere to evade the hero while also damaging the hero. Kanji totally captivated to the idea mimic the villain fighting style, using some wires attach to some kind of hook.
At the age of 10, Kanji through trial and error can finally glide though not as fast like the villain but that can be solve when he have the right material. Finally finished with his manoeuvring style, Kanji add weight lifting in his workout while also wearing weights that is heavy as himself all the time.
