-1'Damn, I wish I could have died instead. Everyone who's been taken from me has had the courage to die for what they believed in, all except me.' Draco sat upon his bed and listened to thoughts that weren't his own. Two guesses as to whom the thoughts belonged, oh, and the first one doesn't count. It'd been happening to him increasingly since the beginning of this school year when he'd had a very interesting run in with a certain savior.
"Potter! I need to talk to you." Draco called as he walked, no sauntered up to the golden trio.
"What do you want Malfoy?" He was very calm, almost numb towards the blond, but it wasn't given much thought. He supposed that Harry, like himself, was just sick of the constant bickering.
"I want a truce." was stated only moments before Draco instinctively, and definitely not thinking straight, kissed the boy wonder! The memory flashed through his head only seconds before he got some more negative thoughts and decided to go in search of the idiot Gryffindor.
"Dray, What are you doing here?" asked the confused boy as he stepped out of the portrait hole to find the blond boy walking towards him.
"What the hell have you been thinking about for the past like hour? How can one person have so many negative thoughts? You take the cake!" without warning Draco grabbed Harry and proceeded to drag the stunned green-eyed boy to the room of requirement. They entered a lush room lined with priceless beauty and pictures of memories spread out before the two. Harry gawked at the sights laid before him, it was all pictures of him in various states. There were still images of him smiling, or looking pensive, or just sitting; wizard-photos of him playing (quitich and snap), or just flying; and of him when he was with friends stretched as far as the eye could see, they covered every surface.
"What is all this?" Harry muttered, awed, as he got a closer look at some of the pictures.
"Exactly what I asked it for." Draco walked over to a seemingly normal corner of the room, well as normal as that particular room got, and came back to stand before his crush with a photo album. They sat on the only couch in the space and began flipping through the various pictures until he found some of what he was looking for. "Look at these. This whole book shows the people that your life has made a direct impact upon, Harry. Ron, Hermione, Sev, Sirius, Your parents."
"Yeah, but Sirius and my parents died and Snape hates my guts." He looked dejected as he spotted a picture of his parents. "Mom, Dad, Sirius, Cedric, so many people that I've affected, so many people dead."
"But you are the bravest, you've lived through it all." He paused and turned Harry to look into his eyes, "Don't ever be ashamed to be alive." and he left no room for arguments. Harry was at a loss for words as the one thing he didn't ever expect happened, Draco Malfoy kissed him. And he kissed back with an almost desperation. The two soon found themselves in only boxers, and Harry suddenly stopped Kissing.
"What's wrong, Harry? I thought you wanted this." Draco inquired, truly worried about the other boy.
"It's just that, I'm kinda scared, scared of wanting this, of it being wrong to enjoy this." He finally looked up from where he'd glued his eyes to his lap and emerald orbs met glistening silver.
"It would've been easy to just let that bastard kill you, but you took the hard way and vowed to live instead of being a martyr; I'm not saying that it's the dead people's fault, but there's one thing that you have that they didn't and that's life and bravery." He kissed Harry's nose and whispered in his ear, "Though, you can die at anytime, it takes courage to live." and he finished devouring the boy, no man, of his dreams who let him this time.
Owari!!
