Summary: After Lindsay's cover is blown Danny realises his feelings for her this is set during 'not what it looks like'. I'm from England so we have only got this far in the series which sucks

Danny wasn't pleased when Lindsay said that she should go in under cover. Just because she was the same in body stature didn't mean they wouldn't know she wasn't the right girl. All he could do while he was she was getting briefed by Flack was stand on the side lines and pray that she would be safe. Lindsay's safety was the only thing running through his mind. What if her cover got blown, what would happen to her then?
He couldn't just watch her go in there without her knowing his concerns. Danny knew that getting Lindsay to listen would be hard but he had to try. He had to know that he tried to stop her, tried to change her mind. Lindsay just wanted to save the girl. Stop her from getting killed, but Danny couldn't help thinking that what if Lindsay was the one that got killed.
When Lindsay was found out Danny couldn't describe the fear that was running through his body. He was convinced he'd lost her that she was gone and it would have been his fault. He should have forced her to stay outside stopped her from trying to do the right thing. It was at that point that he realised how he really felt. Danny knew that his feelings for Lindsay went further than just friendship. He loved her and he knew that now.
Danny ran into the building calling her name, his heart filling with dread when she didn't immediately answer. One of the happiest moments in his life must have been when he heard her call his name. Danny. He was there at her side within seconds wrapping his arms around her to let her know she was safe. As he held her close the only thing he could hope for was that he would never let go.
