That day I sat by the mere, thinking. Why was it so difficult? Finding someone. All I wanted was to find someone who loved me for me. It shouldn't be so difficult. By now, I was tired, tired and sad of not finding that girl. I sighed and rose from my place, it was 8 in the evening and the night was starting to be a bit chilly. On my way home I decided to walk through the forest. Suddenly I noticed something.

Owls. Everywhere. But they were fleeing from something. And then,I realized that I could hear something. I looked around in the forest. Foxes. They were whispering.

Foxes whispering, owls fleeing?

WHAT WAS ALL THIS ABOUT?

Then suddenly something caught my eye. All I could see was that it was a girl. She disappeared between the pines with a high pitched, ringing laugh.

It was as if I had lost all sanity. I could not think of anything else.

Goblins, Spirits, Fairies, all magical creatures whom I only thought existed in fairy tales became visible as I stood there, mesmerized. The goblins muttered that it was insanity. The fairies and the spirits reprehended me, saying I should just forget her cause she was a wood nymph and not to be trusted.

But I couldn't. When she disappeared I ran after her. I knew I HAD to get to know her.

"What's your name?" I shouted. No reply. She just kept running.

"Please!" I begged. "Please stop!" Suddenly she turned around. She had moss-green eyes and long brown hair that stretched down all the way to her hips.

"I know that all the animals here are your friends" I said, motioning creatures that was coming up behind her. Rabbits, Deer, Badgers and so many others.

"But, don't you still feel like you are alone?" She looked at me from up and down, it felt like she was judging me. She smiled, looked me right in the eyes and said:

" Every magical creature is warning you and I can not blame them, for I am a wood nymph. But please, come back to me. I want to meet you again."

When the evening came I found myself by the mere again. This time, however, was different. I was not alone. I had the most amazing girl next to me. We rose from our spot and started to run. She laughed that high-pitched laugh again and I laughed with her. She was quite incalculable but I understand that. She is, after all, a wood nymph.
