The thief
I was walking down the road to get to my house when suddenly, a person in a cloak jumped out of a bush and tackled me. He took out a gun and told me to give him all my money and lead him to my house or else he would kill me. I gave him all my money which was twenty dollars. Then I got a plan, which I knew may have gotten me killed but he most likely would have killed me anyway and if I led him to my family he would have killed them also. So I decided to keep the bloodshed to a minimum and trick him.
The plan was to go to my grandmother's house and ring the bell five times in a row and she would call the police but she was in the opposite direction and I needed a very good reason for turning around and then I got an idea. I told him that I was going to my father who lives in poverty to give him some food and the money I just gave you and he believed my lie.
He told me walk twenty paces in front of him and stop every once in a while as if I am looking for someone. He also told me if he that he would have his gun in his pocket pointed at me at all times. When he told me that another good idea came upon me: it was to put in a number in my phone every time I bent down I was trying to call my father and tell him my situation. When I finally put in all of the numbers I put the phone in my pocket and pressed call when I bent down again my father was on the phone and I told him my situation really quick and I got back up. When I went back down he told me just as quick that he will call my grandmother and the police and he would tell them to hide in my grandmother's so when I come with my "visitor" they would be waiting. When I got on the Bus with him it was the scariest thing ever because when I sat down I noticed I was sitting right next to my best friend and the thief was sitting right opposite to me. While my friend and I were talking every fiber in my being screamed to tell him but I refrained. Try as I might I couldn't keep back the sweat on my face. He noticed and asked if everything was alright. That caught my assaulter's attention. I told him everything was okay but he said he will be coming with me to my grandmother's house. Fortunately the bus passes in front of my grandmother's house I told them that this is she lives and then my assaulter shot us both in the kneecaps. He then unwittingly rang the doorbell five times and when he opened the door he was tackled by two policemen. We were soon carried to the hospital and the police called us heroes of the day.
