LET'S DANCE

"Hey guys" Gabriella said to Sharpay, Chad, Taylor and her boyfriend Troy. Who were all standing in the quad at East High before class started.

"Hey Gabs" replied the group and Troy put his arm around her a kissed her on the cheek.

"So we all still going to 'Glitz' tonight?" she asked everyone.

'Glitz' is the groups' hangout place they go almost every Friday night but they haven't been in a while so decided to go tonight. 'Glitz' is an all age's dance club which is filled with East High students every Friday and Saturday night.

"Yeah, totally" Sharpay said on behalf of the group just as the bell rang for homeroom.

"C'mon guys we better get to homeroom or Darbus will put us in detention most likely" Chad said beckoning the group and walking hand in hand with girlfriend Taylor.

The school day went by and everyone was filling out of the halls in a rush excited for the weekend.

"See you guys tonight" Gabriella said as she and Troy broke away from the group and hopped into Troy's Mercedes.

"Taylor, you reckon you could drive by and pick me up on your way. My parents took my car away from me for a week" Sharpay asked.

"Well Chad is picking me up but I'm sure he wouldn't mind, will you" She said turning to her boyfriend. Chad looked from her to Sharpay.

"Sure I always take you everywhere anyway, I was going to initially. I don't even know why you ask anymore"

"Thanks, see you guys later than" She said turning and waking away.

"We'll pick you up at nine be ready" Taylor yelled after her.

"Okay" she said waving a hand at them without turning around.

"Hey guys" Sharpay said to Troy and Gabriella who were sitting at the usual table in the club, along with all the other wildcats.

"Hey" Gabriella replied as she stood up and gave Sharpay a hug followed by Taylor and Chad.

The club looked awesome; everybody was dancing and the music was booming.

"Oh, I love this song" Gabriella said as the start of her favorite dance song began to play.

"C'mon guys let's dance" she called as she lead the group onto the dance floor and taking Troy's hand.

The song continued and everyone was partying and having loads of fun. Troy was dancing alone with Gabriella in the middle of the dance floor as the rest of the group were off to the side dancing together. Gabriella glanced over at them. Sharpay was yelling at Chad to get him to dance with her seeing as Taylor totally refused, they both soon gave in. Sharpay can be very demanding.

Gabriella's favourite part of the song came on and she started to sing along.

The rest of the gang came over to where Troy and Gabriella were on the dance floor. The group of friends danced for the rest of the night.
