Dear Readers,

I was lost without you...caught in the tides of war. Enemies seemed
to appear out of nowhere...attacking...killing...

And I fought. For me. For you. For peace...peace...I fought never
truly knowing what it was...Peace was the absense of war, we used
to say...a time when the fighting stops and life returns...but for us...
The war never ends. There is always someone...somewhere...fighting.
And more often than not, fighting us.

But...you showed me a new meaning to peace...you taught me to strive
for serenity...and there was a brief time, within all the battles, when
I found my serenity...You, Duo, brought it to me. Your smiles. Your
laughter. Your jokes. All of it...and I fell in love with you...And you...
You fell in love with me...

With *me*!! An assassin! Trained to kill...trained to never fail...trained...
but still lost...caught in the tides of war...You loved me unconditionally,
without regret, without remorse...

So aishiteru, Duo...for everything...

You were my serenity, Duo...You were the one that I fought for...that I
now fight for...

I can never thank you enough for bringing back my humanity...and for
teaching me that serenity is not freedom from the storm...but peace
amid the storm.
