Featured Word: This week, instead of a word, we have a theme: The boys are in a Bar

A/N: Almost anyone who's talked to me this season knows I'm so completely done with Dean drinking I can't even talk about it anymore. My choice this week was to either abstain or improvise. I obviously decided to improvise. I apologize to the lovely ladies who run this challenge - I just can't do it.

Also - things here have been so completely chaotic I haven't even had chance to read for weeks. I'm so grateful to all of you who have left reviews, and I apologize to everyone I haven't gotten back to. I am trying to get caught up on replies and reading other people's stories, there just never seem to be enough hours in a day. Need to find more time to write, too. Poor Dean can't stay be-spelled forever.

Sam left the bar feeling satisfied with himself, three containers full of hot food and his pockets considerably heavier. He'd felt a bit guilty at first, hustling the locals at pool. Until one of them started getting handsy with the waitress, that is. Sam had cleaned the idiot out and sent him packing.

Dean was still working on the case - Sam had been as quick as he could replenishing their depleted funds so he could buy them dinner. Dean would be starved and exhausted, but the apple pie would definitely earn Sam a smile. Sam grinned at the thought.
