Nobody knew how Ladybug and Chat Noir did it.
They always seemed to know what the other was thinking no matter what.
They did so during akuma attacks, during patrols and even during interviews.
Sure they usually talked and yelled instructions but they didn't do so always.
Sometimes eye-contact was all they needed to know what the other wanted.
When Ladybug got her Lucky Charm and thought up a plan she sometimes just asked if he was ready and he would nod and already do whatever was needed without any details, already knowing what she was thinking just by looking at her.
Other times Chat Noir was about to use his Cataclysm to stall the akuma and Ladybug right away knew where to stay away from or make up a plan with it.
It wasn't just during fights they did it.
Often after the akuma was defeated and reporters managed to corner the heroes would they know what the other was thinking.
They both knew what kind of questions they allowed themselves and each other to answer to avoid giving details about their identities or to avoid personal problems.
They would answer questions for each other very quickly before leaving if it seemed to bother their partner.
They were even sometimes spotted during their patrols around Paris after which they would often just hang out together, sometimes without even talking.
Ladybug and Chat Noir could read each other like open books just with some eye-contact, hand to the shoulder, friendly punch or nudge or by reading the other's bodylanguage.
It was just how they worked together.
They had their own form of communication.
