Why did I get cabin check, again? I mean really, I am labour as good at keeping my own cabin clean as Grover is at playing Call Me Maybe on his pipes. In other words, not very good, at all.
But at least I get to do it with Annabeth. She mostly does all he work when we are pairEd with each other for this chore. But she really has an eye for clean stuff.
We had both decided to meet out side my cabin. When she got there, I was just stepping outside my cabin, half asleep. But when I saw her and she gave me a kiss on the cheek, I was fully awake.
"Alright Seaweed Brain? Lets get this over with."
"Okay Wise Girl."
She pretended to take a breath and plug her nose as she stepped into my cabin to inspect it.
"Percy, Im sorry to say, but its a total two."
"Can't you give your boyfriend and best friend some slack?"
"Sorry!"
I sighed and looked at her pleadingly. I knew I wouldn't win, but then Annbeth surprised me. She looked around cornily then put a three down on her clip board for my room.
"Thank you Annabeth," I said happily.
She smiled at me and we walked down to the next cabin together.
