AN: Hey, guys, Bona here! Yeah... I've totally been abandoning my other work. But this is super fun! Anyway, I am attempting a 100 oneshot challenge, themes by queenpetra on deviantArt. And, obviously, the fandom is Mario! And I am absolutely doing these in order.
Anyway, I do not own Mario, Nintendo does, and queenpetra owns this list of themes.
First oneshot: Luigi's first meeting with Daisy, and what the twins think of her.
1. Introduction
Luigi was scared. A princess was visiting from the distant Sarasaland, and his brother Mario had just saved her. The teen had called him less than an hour prior, describing the girl in stunning detail. It helped, of course, that Mario had an eidetic memory. 'By the way, little brother,' he had warned, 'she has an incredibly... Fiery personality.' This revelation had set Luigi on edge. Nothing frightened the younger Giordano twin more than someone with no control. He hoped this was at least some sort of exaggeration on Mario's part.
Luigi was soon deposited on the doorstep of the castle by Professor E. Gadd. "Grazie, Professore Gadd!" he shouted cheerfully as the professor drove off. To his great surprise, Princess Peach herself opened the door. She smiled her usual sickly sweet smile.
"Hello, Luigi! Your brother is already inside with the Sarasaland princess. You should go find them." Luigi smiled at her as he dashed inside.
"Grazie!" he shouted behind him. Peach giggled at his receding figure.
"Good luck with my cousin, there, Luigi," she whispered to herself.
Despite his qualms about her because of Mario's description, Luigi actually enjoyed Daisy's company. She didn't even pick on him because he didn't speak English well! "So, Mario told me that he always has to save my cousin, isn't that true?" she asked at one point.
The twins looked at each other in shock. "COUSIN?!" They both promptly fainted. Daisy just sat there and smiled, a sweatdrop forming on the side of her head.
"Uh..."
