FanFiction Percabeth Christmas Gift Giving

Annabeth's POV

The Christmas party was in one hour and I didn't know what to wear. The more pressing matter was that I had no idea what I was going to get Percy for Christmas. I was really starting to panic. This would be the fifth Christmas we would be spending together as a couple. I didn't think anyone could save me, but that's when Aphrodite walked in.

"Annabeth, sweetheart! Let me help you!" pleaded Aphrodite. She snapped her fingers without waiting for an answer. Suddenly I was in a long sleeved, red dress that fell just above the knees. I looked in the mirror and my hair was put up in an elegant bun with some strands hanging down and curled delicately. There was a powder of white eye shadow on my eyes and subtle pink lip gloss on my lips.

"Thank you, Aphrodite. I still don't know what to get for Percy!" I said, the panic starting to catch up with me again.

"Don't worry, honey. I'll take care of that." Reassured Aphrodite. "Percy's gift will be waiting for him in is cabin after the party." With that, Aphrodite disappeared in a plume of pink smoke that smelled like roses.

I walked towards the dining pavilion in a daze. Campers had moved the tables from the middle to the edge to make room for the dance floor. The rest of the tables had food or people already sitting at them. Wow, Aphrodite made me late.

I quickly snapped out of my daze as I saw Percy. He was wearing a blue sweater with jeans, complete with a Santa hat that matched mine. "Hey Annabeth." He said with a wide smile.

"Hey Seaweed Brain." I answered, greeting him with a smile of my own. He pulled me over to a table and put me on his lap.

I leaned into him. "Merry Christmas, Percy." I said, completely happy. "Would you like to dance?" he asked. Never mind, now I was completely happy.

"Yes." I answered as I pulled him towards the dance floor. Just as we arrived on the dance floor a slow song came on. Aphrodite! Way, no, it's Leo. He was the party's DJ and he's staring at us, smiling. I put my hand on Percy's neck and he put his hands around my waist. I smiled at him.

Percy's POV

I smiled back at Annabeth. I looked into her grey eyes and immediately got lost in them. She looked down at her shoes for a second, then looked up at me through her lashes. I was really glad I was taller than her, if only by an inch. As the song ended I pulled her in a kiss.

The rest of the party consisted of pigging out on any sweets I could get my hands on. Annabeth and I also talked to some campers and of course, Annabeth and I danced. We did some free styling, line dancing, and obviously slow dancing. After our seventh all four of our eyes started to droop and we both agreed to go back to our cabins.

"Wait!" Annabeth said as we were walking together. "I have to show you something." Annabeth said and lead me, to my surprise, towards Poseidon's cabin. I walked in to my cabin and immediately saw a salt water fish tank. There was many red shrimp, and red and white gobies. There was a red starfish and a green and blue chromis. They were all Christmas colors. So was the coral and rocks that decorated the 20 gallon fish tank.

There was a little Greek temple and a miniature Empire State building, but the best thing of all was the sign. It read:

Seaweed Brain,

I love you.

~Wise Girl

I was speechless as I took it all in. "Annabeth." I said "All I got you was perfume…"

"It's okay" she said as she cut me off. "You're gift can be letting me stay with you." I would give that gift every day. We snuggled in my bed and drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.
